DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL!!…read more The teachers do not care about the kids! This is literally the worst school we have ever been to, it's so bad that we paid for a whole month (February 2026) but my son only lasted 4 days (no refund). My family and I have never been treated so badly! My poor child was sitting on his poop for what was probably hours because they didn't want to change him. He had the biggest blowout we have ever seen that we had to throw away his clothes. The teacher and Director knew he had a blowout because they tried to cover it up and pretend they didn't see it! On top of this, his teacher Miss M is one of the worst people I've ever met. My son is mostly potty trained which I disclosed to the school and they said it's fine not to worry they understand if he has accidents. Well that is not what happened, anytime he had an accident they were furious! They would scold him and made him so scared to use the toilet from being shamed that he regressed and went back to diapers full time. He would cry anytime we sat him on the potty out of fear we would yell at him because that's what his teacher was doing! We know this because he told us what she would do when he wouldn't go on the potty or have accidents. The last day with his teacher Miss M was the breaking point. He had another accident that she was so furious that she ignored us at pick up wouldn't say hi to us acted like we didn't exist and handed us my son's things and walked away!! And mind you this was his 4th day at this school not even a week and they were treating us this way. This teacher was also very condescending, had no manners wouldn't say hi or bye, always in a bad mood (definitely dislikes kids and her job), extremely passive aggressive, and also micro aggressive. Miss M has no business being around children let alone teaching them. I don't say this lightly when I say she truly is a terrible person. Who yells and scolds a child for having an accident?! If you care about your child do not come to this school!! P.S. do not get fooled by their positive reviews, they are from years ago!

This review is LONG overdue!!! Where do I even begin...the ladies that work here are complete GEMS…read more My family is so incredibly lucky to have found and chose Ms. Atosa's school for my daughter back in 2022 (she is now 5 years old in Kindergarten). Because of their wonderful care, it was no doubt that I would send my son here as well (who is now 2 years old son and has also been under their care he was 9 months old). This school offers everything that working parents need - flexible hours and breakfast/snacks/lunch (so rare). All of this coupled with a Montessori curriculum and very competitive pricing - it's a win-win-win! This business is a tough business and it's impossible to make everyone happy but Ms. Atosa goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe and cared for. If you have any recommendations or concerns, Ms. Atosa listens carefully and does everything in her power to address it. I always feel so comfortable when approaching her with any of my needs. My daughter who is now in Kindergarten is now excelling in school because of their pre-school program. The teachers have taught them very well in all areas of math, reading and even behaviorally so they are more than prepared going into Kindergarten. Although we still have a few more years to go, I'm already sad for the day that my son will graduate from Ms. Atosa's program.

Old and dated, revolving door of teachers, sickness, and bad habits…read more Our daughter has been attending this school for about a year. Throughout this time, she has had countless teachers in both the infant and toddler rooms. This place seriously lacks stability, and seemingly leadership making the right decisions to retain teachers. During her time in the infant class, our daughter was bitten NUMEROUS times. We never made it too big of a deal, understanding this was quite normal for little ones, especially while teething and not being able to properly express themselves. We didn't think too much of it. Fast forward a few months, and now it was our daughter on the other end of the biting. When it happened, we would have a conversation with the teacher about the why/when, and what was done to reinforce that it wasn't okay. Again, it didn't seem like it was a big deal as we had been on the other end of it before. It was extremely uncommon for her to bite friends/family, so we didn't have a ton of opportunities to try to reinforce these actions at home. Being that she was enrolled full time, they certainly had more hands-on time when it comes to biting other kids than we ever could have. Jump to today, our daughter was kicked out of school for biting. No official warning, no offense countdown, no suspension, just kicked out. This is 2-weeks after my wife suffered a random seizure, cannot drive, and we are 2-weeks away from an out-of-state move. All of which they are aware of. Now we have no daycare, I am the sole care for my wife and now child, in a semi-packed home. They made a rash, one-sided decision, without reasonable communication and resolution, because they do not care and we were one foot out the door. Her teacher didn't even know my daughter was being kicked out, it was apparently Atosa's decision. This was a habit she picked up at this school! Kids will be kids, and we don't feel that the teachers did enough to deter or redirect these actions for our child and others. If the turnover wasn't so high, perhaps they'd have quality relationships between teachers and children to better facilitate bad habits like these. When your business is built around bad habits to begin with, I can't say I'm shocked that you took the easy way out with my child.

Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Lana and Ms. Delmy know all the children's names and take the time to really interact with the kids as well as the parents. The teachers treat the children with such love and care, and they also give attention and communicate well with parents. Daily reports are shared along with photos so parents can stay in the know about their child's day to day. Parent teacher conferences are useful as teachers share the progression of work when it comes to academics. There are also tons of wonderful activities brought to Goddard like basketball camp, reptile day, water/foam day (for summer time) plus visits from professions that teach about music and the importance of brushing your teeth. I love the fact that everything is onsite so your children never need to leave the school (compared to public school/elementary school). The facility is clean and bright, and the seasonal decor on classroom doors are fun to look at (designed by teachers that sometimes include the children's faces). Kids come home with art projects, drawings and some academic work (letters and numbers for their appropriate ages). AM and PM snacks are now provided (lunch must be brought and labeled with names and dates). That was nice because we had to bring in our own snacks during Covid and for a long while after Covid. Goddard is a great preschool and I highly recommend it. As a note, they do have a mandatory rest period from 12:30pm - 3pm and most kids nap. They turn down the classroom lights, play calm music and have the kids lie down on cots with blankets. If you don't want your kids napping, this can be problematic. I've had conversations with the teachers and Ms. Parina (the owner) about securing more staff to allow non-napping kids to have other things to do (ie quiet activities like coloring) but no solution was ever reached during my 3 years there. I've heard pricing for babies is pretty high and babies are required to come in 5 days a week vs part time. I saw prices rise a few times during my time there as well. That said, you get what you pay for, and I believe Goddard has set the bar pretty high. I'm very pleased with the education my kids have received (heartfelt thank you to Ms. Vivian and Ms. Chetana) and I wish public school was as excellent when it came to the level of service and care we've seen at Goddard.

Communication was often difficult, and we did not feel supported when concerns about our son were raised. One of the biggest issues was the constant turnover of teachers in my son's classroom. During our time at the school, his class had multiple teachers, making it difficult for the children to build stable relationships and adjust to a consistent learning environment. Several staff members expressed concerns about the work environment, which was disappointing to us. The administration/ specially director did not demonstrate the level of knowledge or expertise in child development and child psychology that I expected from a leadership team responsible for young children ( I even heard this from teachers). Rather than working with families to understand children's behaviors and support their growth, I often felt that the focus was on discipline instead of teaching and guiding children through age-appropriate challenges. Young children need patience, consistency, and positive guidance to learn appropriate behaviors. Unfortunately, I did not feel that the management took that approach, and I believe my kid would have benefited from more understanding and support. It was my impression that families who gave gifts or maintained a closer relationship with the administration received more favorable treatment. As a result, I felt our kids did not receive the same level of support!!!!! Last but not least Please consider that very serious Goddard director talks about "fairness " however she treat parents differently when they give her expensive gifts? I've heard this from several parents who warned us, but unfortunately we didn't listen.

Ms. Karla is incredibly helpful, organized, and hardworking as the director, and it really shows in the way everything is planned and communicated. The teachers are very involved with the children and are hands-on with activities, which makes the environment feel warm, engaging, and supportive. One of the things we really appreciate is the strong focus on educational activities. The children get to do many crafts and special projects, but what stands out is that the crafts always seem to have an educational touch behind them. We have seen other daycares where crafts are more generic or less focused, so it is very nice to see activities that are both fun and meaningful for the kids. The daycare also offers many great extra options for families, including book club, early drop-off, and afternoon care, which makes the program very convenient and flexible. There are also lots of extra special activities, and we love seeing the creative projects the kids bring home. The facility itself is beautifully decorated and has a charming artistic, homestead feel that gives it a lot of character. Another highlight has been the weekly video recaps. Seeing the kids participate in activities throughout the week is so wonderful and gives parents a special window into their day. We also really appreciate that the daycare advocates for and emphasizes no screen time for the children, which has been such a positive and refreshing part of the program. Overall, this is a caring, creative, and well-run daycare, and we are very thankful for everything they do for the children.
