Based on all the reviews, I had higher expectations. At first glance, I wasn't even sure this place was open when I walked in because everything looked empty. In addition, we tried to come here before during their normal business hours and they were closed. Even though this place was empty, we decided to still give it a try. We ordered crispy potatoes, shrimp noodles, a tofu curry dish, and garlic naan. The crispy potatoes looked nothing like the picture I had seen on Yelp and they were not crispy. They were soft and heavily sauced. The shrimp noodles were okay, a bit overcooked and slightly on the bland side. I actually liked the dish my husband ordered, the tofu curry. It had good flavoring. Everything was serviced on to-go plates, so if you don't finish, they just give you lids and you take them with you. The waitstaff/cashier was very friendly. She repeatedly asked us if we needed anything. The chef even came out to see how we liked the food. Customer service was good! Parking was easy, prices were a bit pricey for the lack of atmosphere and food quality.

I am really sory for this post i ordered the chicken chilli momo its a first time on my life i get chilli momo similar like curry momo and no hygiene there is hair and momo is so dry as well customre service also very poor i will never come back again

That lunchtime conundrum: where to buy lunch that we haven't already eaten SO many times...? Checked what's local on Yelp & Momo's caught my eye. Easy to order online, easy to find parking, service was super duper friendly & of course most importantly, food was delicious. We also had enough leftover to enjoy dinner as well. Both veggie & chicken Momo's were delicious, nicely seasoned- 2 ample containers of sauce included. Quinoa and tofu salad was something I ordered purely tryna be healthy- but it was fresh & tasty we definitely will order again. Also got chicken noodle dish- mild box we're wimpy- great seasonings & chunks of chicken & veg. Didn't get pics of everything coz we were scarfing it down & also doesn't look so pretty in take out containers. Satisfied! We'll b back.

Himalayan Chef Kitchen is in Urban Kitchen's space. no inside nor outside dining, just take out or delivery. offerings: Indian & Himalayan: Momos, bowls, noodle bowls, curry, breads, wings, chili plate, eats: Vegan Mushroom & Cauliflower Peas Curry (11) with comped rice -a mix of mushroom, cauliflower, peas, onions, tomatos, fresh cilantro, Napalese sauces. tasted medium spicy. good sized portion -tastes better than the meat dishes i ordered elsewhere -choice of mild, medium, spicy. 4.5 stars for freshness, good value. take outs: -this order traveled well. still warm when i got it home... -had difficulty deciding what to order, the vegan curry is definitely right choice for me.....no need to worry about meats being dry, tasteless. *ordering on iphone was easy. i just couldn't remember what i ordered. :)

I've come here twice now, and have gotten the beef thupa and chicken momo. The beef thupa is very satisfying on a cold day; flavorful and rich. The meat was tender and came in a generous portion. The chicken momos were good as well, with a LOT of filling - 12 would be enough for two meals for me! The space inside is on the more minimalist end, and is clean and well maintained. It also wasn't crowded, so I felt comfortable dining in. Both times the chef and other people working there have been very friendly, checking to see how we liked the food and if we needed anything else. I would definitely like to stop by again and try more of their menu!

The place is small but clean and the customer service is FANTASTIC! We had our piping hot order in just minutes after ordering. The chef himself came out to ask how the food was. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, shrimp fried rice, chicken chilli momos and the regular chicken momos. All great! I'd come back again! And I definitely recommend the chicken tikka masala, the flavors were on point!!!

Quinoa with Mixed Veggies Bowl/ Chicken Chili Plate/ Salmon Curry

If you're looking for welcoming atmosphere with high end decorations on the wall and fine china this place is not for you, however if you're looking for clean freshly made to order extremely delicious food this place is worth the trip. Himalayan Chef Kitchen mostly does take out, or catering, but we decided to pull up a chair and take in the experience. The Chef came out to greet us with such a warm greeting. Then we went through the menus several times, finally coming to a conclusion. My husband ordered a chicken dish with mild sauce, and I ordered salmon with medium sauce that was so good I could have taken a straw to it. We shared a quinoa tofu salad bowl. They brought out complimentary rice. Just before we were finishing up, the Chef came out again just to see what we thought of the food. They do not serve alcohol which was fine cause I'll finish mine during happy hour and a glass of wine. We both agreed that the food was absolutely delicious worth the 5 stars!! Can't wait to go back!

The egg is topped with Unagi. Loved how clean this one tasted but in hindsight I could make something like this at home and should have went for some of the more standard sizzling plates. Beef Rice: Beef surrounding a mound of rice with corn and green onion toppings. It comes with a paper ring around it to remind you it is HOT and you will burn yourself if you touch it. It stays hot for a long time and the kids loved cooking on it. The rice also gets that nice black crunchy char layer on it which my wife loves.

Great first impression after so many years. Authentic Hong Kong foods. If you're coming from the South Bay Area, this place doesn't disappoint. We don't have very good Cantonese HK style cafes that serve good A/B/C/D/etc. breakfasts and most places are overpriced. Good value for good foods here. I paid $16 with taxes included for B-breakfast, so I left them $4 tips. $16 for everything was considered cheap! I had french fries/hash brown/two eggs/chicken steak/broccoli/carrot/etc. and comes with hot beverage of choice. Very fulfilling. Delicious foods with authentic drinks. After some filtering and choosing, we decided on Korean food. Truly always my go-to choice. The food here really did not disappoint and hit the spot after a long day. Overall, will be a 5 star from me. Food: Spicy Braised Beef Short Rib + Cheese and Rice Cakes: 4.5/5 This was their beef short rib with onion and potato. We always get it with the rice cake and cheese on top because those are truly a must for this dish. The braised beef short ribs are super tender and you could cut though it with a spoon. Their meats are nicely marinated into the sauce and super tender. The sauce is really the star of this dish and they seasoned it really well. There's some kick to it, sweet, salty, and umami. I would eat this sauce alone with rice or noodles if I had the choice. The rice cakes are a little too soft for me and I would have preferred for it to have more of a bite. Again, not really complaining because the sauce made up for it. For the cheese, it's mostly just piled on top of the dish. They're not like other places where they torch the cheese to melt it for us. We just mixed it into the sauce and it melted all the way through for that cheese pull. There's no smokiness, but not a big concern for me. It melted well into the sauce and made it taste amazing though. Fried Chicken (8 Pieces) - Soy Garlic + Hot and Sweet Sauce: 4.3/5 This was more of our side dish/appetizer dish. The sauce is a little too salty for my taste, but honestly, I wasn't really complaining. Something I do like is the consistency of it. It's like this sticky sauce that coats the crispy coating of the chicken well. This dipped into the spicy braised short rib sauce was such an amazing combination too. My preference was the soy garlic. The flavor is just so classic. Hot and sweet is good too. There is a good kick to it and a nice balance of flavors overall. When the chicken came out, it was piping hot. Very juicy and I could feel that when I tried to take a bite out of it. Crispy on the outside and nicely cooked all the way through. Banchan: Good variety They provide kelp noodle salad, kimchi, edamame, mashed tofu, Korean yellow pickled radish, and fish cakes. I actually liked all of these expect for the kimchi. I have a specific preference for kimchi, so definitely just a preference in taste kind of a thing. Lovely textures for all of them. The tofu confused us initially, but it's very good protein for me and I'm not complaining about my foods being mechanically altered. --------- Quality: Made to order Their meats seem to be of optimal quality. That or the cut is just really good and they've been braising it for hours now. Super tender and will just come off the bones. The meats are cut into pretty large pieces, so I would cut it into about four pieces. This was doable with a spoon, which says a lot. Of note, we could hear the fryer sound in the back. Crossing fingers that was to freshy fry our chicken. Items also came out piping hot, which is just how I like it. The short ribs was inside of a stone pot and it was just boiling and bubbling away. Always a plus to see. Price: Typical Bay Area Prices The price ranges will depend on what you get. For the two items that we got today, it was around $60. Seems fair for the portion sizes provided. We also had leftovers to bring home. Again, the prices will range from about $15 to $25. Typical Bay Area prices. Service: Fairly Fast My friend and I were actually the only two people there. Honestly, I'm not complaining for us. I'm actually not sure why they're not more popular because their food was made really well for us. Side note, but if I had it my way, I would probably inhale the remainder that we took home with us. Their food was made to order because we did hear the food being cooked. They did come out with the food fairly quickly. Service was alright and they were quite nice about everything. Ambiance: Late Night Eats Vibes This place really gives me the late night eat vibes. They do sell the items that I see in the Korean dramas where they would go out for a drink and some food. They do have nice options for dinner though. Of note, they do stay open quite late, which I am totally here for. Interior is spacious and their music choice is straight from my playlist, which I really like. Location/Parking: Long Plaza This place is a little farther for me, but I still like exploring around as some food places are worth driving a little farther for. This place is on Cedar Blvd and its quite a long plaza. There's like multiple connections in this plaza along with their entrances. They do have some other shops and restaurants here too. Parking didn't seem to be an issue for me at all. They seem to have enough spaces around for this scale of an area.
