They're located on the 2nd floor. I had 2 visits and both Techs were very nice. The manager was also nice. They answered all my questions and let me know everything they were going to do. The room i stayed in the 1st night was spacious, with a tv and bathroom. The 2nd night the room was smaller. Its set up kinda like a hotel room. There's a recliner and the bed is a sleep number bed for your comfort. That's awesome that you can choose your own personal settings. It helped me sleep better. They hook all the necessary cords up to you and place sensors on your scalp, legs, and etc. They can monitor if your dreaming, having sudden body movements, stop breathing and more. They use the cpap machine while your sleeping to find a comfortable setting for when you use your machine at home. They will set you up with a DME company that will handle getting your cpap supplies, mask, and etc. There are certain qualifications you have to meet for insurance to approve getting your machine. They get you up around 6am to go home. The staff also offers a desensitization appointment where you get to try on several mask to see what works best for you. They were very helpful during the whole process. There is a camera in the room that your being watched on all night. The experience went smoothly and I'd definitely use this location again if i had to. Check them out...

My assumption was that the new doctor would keep the appointment I had scheduled. When time started to get close & I didn't hear from the practice, I called. They treated me like a new patient & gave me an appointment months out with a different person than Dr Belete's letter indicated. I told them about the letter & the appointments person acted as if it meant nothing. That's when I started my search for a new Pulmonologist, which I found. This office had always been bad about canceling appointments & then giving an appointment months later. So I was never up to date on my care. I did also have a bad experience with one of their doctors in 2016 when my late Uncle was hospitalized at Beach General. He pulled me out of the room & showed me the scans that indicated badly advanced lung cancer. I told him I didn't want to tell my Uncle then, knowing he would immediately give up. He told me No & marched into my Uncle's room & gave him the news quite abruptly, although I was the next of kin and had Power of Attorney. The Pulmonologist told my Uncle he had a choice to go to one of their Hospice Houses or to Hospice at my house, which he did. It was a terrible experience because of his lack of bedside manner. Due to the staff attitude & my experience with their doctor who was attending Pulmonologist at Beach General when my Uncle was hospitalized, I would no longer recommend this practice.

I have been a patient at Manuli Internal Medicine since I moved to NC in 2016. Most recently, a new…read morenurse was hired who has not been pleasant nor understanding towards me. I have requested prescriptions that were never put in for weeks with the explanation that I never called or left a message. On Friday, June 13, 2025, I left a voicemail requesting that my prescription be refilled. I received a callback on Monday, June 16, 2025 requesting information. I called back that same day, providing said information at 10:59am. I even called back several times to ask about said medication and was told I will receive a call when the medication has been received. Today, a nurse actually looked into the system and said the order for the medication had never been put in due to me never calling back. From now on, I will record every phone call. I have attached my call log as proof. Stopping my medication abruptly has caused so many NEGATIVE side effects. I FEEL HORRIBLE!!!! I cannot imagine how this staff member has impacted other patients. Other patients have also mentioned negative encounters with this staff member and reception. It is very sad and disheartening. This is the 2nd time this incident has occurred within two months. I requested to speak to the Office Manager today; I was told she was unavailable. I was told I will receive a call tomorrow; if I receive a call, I will update my review at that time. Updated review 07/09/2025: After making a valid complaint to the practice, I received a letter dated July 1, 2025 stating I was discharged from the practice without any explanation. This is the SAME DAY the Office Manager called to 'rectify' the situation. She said she would be investigating just to write this letter the same day. Sharing your concerns to the Office Manager is like voicing your concerns to HR at Bad Boy Records - RETALIATION, discrimination and malpractice. Please see attached letter/photo. RUN AND DO NOT WALK AWAY. We have all heard of and seen what nurses and corruption can do to a patient. Hopefully, I receive a full copy of my medical records because of course there was no release included in the letter I received; just a dismissal. I will be sharing this information with my colleagues who attend this practice and my insurance company.

The huge private parking lot assures finding a space for your vehicle will never be an issue. Staff is friendly and efficient, they make you feel comfortable and appreciated. My wife has serious issues with her spine and was barely able to walk for more than a couple minutes at a time before we met Dr. Richard Guinand who was referred by my wife's primary care physician. By the time we met Dr. Guinand we were pretty much resolved that surgery would be necessary but the doctor was very reassuring and took his time explaining exactly what was going on with my wife's physical infirmities. He was very friendly and engaging, even a little humorous. He said he felt that a course of physical therapy may be enough to deal with the issues. He stressed the importance of completing the program and then recommended a few facilities for us to choose which one was the most convenient for us. We selected Bon Secours In Motion At Chilled Ponds which is only a few miles from our home, Dr. Guinand set it up and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. After a couple of months of therapy my wife's condition had improved so significantly that she no longer required a scooter when doing grocery shopping and was once again able to do yard work and pretty much anything else she wanted. I was very impressed with Dr. Guinand's experience and expertise. He was able to quickly diagnose my wife's issues and knew the best way to treat her.

I had heard good things about The Spine Center and chose them. I had a PT I was happy with and he allowed me to continue there. I was happy I did not have to make the drive several times a week. He must understand the pain and torment the neuropathy causes someone, as he is right there when you need him. He has never told me no and he has explained what he is doing every time.
