Beautiful, serene setting. As I drive on the winding inclined path, you feel closeness to the divine even before entering the actual building. The temple building is large, well designed and geared towards serving an expanding community of Dharma followers who may be the new immigrants from India, Hindus who came a generation or two ago, second/third generation AmericAn born Hindus or non Indian followers of Dharmic traditions. Many non Indian Hindus from Nepal, Caribbean islands, Africa as well as non Indian American dharma followers find acceptance here. On festival days you will see occasional white groups of students or adult couple having lunch here without receiving a second glance. Both the priests are very competent in religious rituals and are very kind and outgoing. Their smiles are welcoming. The temple administration and priests follow the true Vedic Hindu principles unadulterated by any later period contaminations which have crept into Hindu society. They treat every devotee with love and acceptance without any discrimination. The Sunday school is fantastic and is sure to produce next generation of confident and compassionate citizens who will be an asset to any country they choose to settle in.
