It's down a hallway just past two restaurants and the candy store. (they sell El Bueno mezcal at both restaurants). I've purchased mezcal here on my last two trips to Mexico City. I was just here in May 2018 and purchased 2 wonderful bottles of the rare Don Monkey (Chango) pechuga mezcal. This is arguably the finest mezcal I have and I consider myself a mezcal connoisseur. It is extraordinary. I've been to Oaxaca and Michoacan on multiple drinking excursions in search of rare and fantastic Mezcal. I have 7 different pechugas, including a 'quail, which is not as good as the Don Monkey. Ask for some samples from the kind and knowledgeable owner, Miguel, who will also show you photos of his family, who make this fantastic artisanal product. He'll gladly refill your ceramic drinking 'copa', so don't be bashful - try them all! Also, El Bueno Mezcal has won prestigious medals at the Intl. San Francisco liquor competition. Salud!
