Good: cocktails - my friend group of 5 all had drinks (one a non-alcoholic one) and we all enjoyed them Food: we had tacos and flatbreads. The tacos were nothing special. The potato ones were especially boring. View- you don't get a view of the mountains which is disappointing. You get a view of the race track and Arcadia. Again, kinda underwhelming. I'll probably stick to Granville in Pasadena where the views are nicer and the food is definitely better.

This is in the newly built hotel and we had to checkout the rooftop bar. It was about 4 floors up so high enough to enjoy a sunset. The space was lively with music, lights, and comfortable seating. It was dark when we arrived and we sat at a booth next to a warmer lamp which was much needed because it got quite cold. We ordered: Shrimp Ceviche - 8/10 fresh shrimp but wish it had more lemon/lime flavor. Some spice would have helped too Queso Fundido Flatbread - 8/10 not bad but not amazing Thai chicken wings - 10/10 probably the best thing we had that night. The chicken wings were meaty and juicy, and it was very savory Fries - 10/10 love the crisp and each fry was well flavored Cocktails: Storm chaser - loved this drink. I don't typically drink rum either but the Kraken dark rum was so good. It has a deep flavor, a little smokey, not sweet, and very smooth. Overall night place to be outdoors and enjoy some drinks. We were here on a Friday night and unfortunately didn't get the DJ experience so may try again next time. There is also a structure for parking nearby.

I want to say that I've been here solo at least two nights and still recommend highly. Friday night, I came around 8 PM and had attentive servers. I was able to enjoy a drink and I was able to sit down and enjoy a book in the meantime. It was nice to see a rooftop bar not in DTLA closer to me. It was pretty hip, and would definitely invite friends for a nice cocktail. They have a decent drink menu and food menu and I was able to try a few different things. They also have heaters and lights for the evening time. Parking is limited if you're not at the hotel, but there is neighborhood parking which isn't too far. Unfortunately, I am removing one star for my Saturday evening. I went on Saturday night for a sunset and dj session since I enjoyed the Friday evening. However, Saturday night, I unfortunately didn't get the same service. I waited about 30 minutes for a server and had to flag down multiple times to get a drink and my water. I never got my servers name and I was going to order another drink, but it took about another 20 mins to flag down a server. The food and drink were still great, but it was disappointing since the servers were busy and rarely checked on me. I still will return, however, larger groups closer to the bar will likely receive better service.

What an awesome place to hangout and in SGV right next to Santa Anita Race Track and the Santa Anita Mall.... Great food, the potato tacos were awesome!!!! Great drinks and a great crowd for a Saturday Night Staff is very attentive and great music from a local DJ. What more can you ask for??? The place got packed as the night went on as well. I plan on coming back again soon!

Came here with my besties for a quiet evening chat and catch-up, and it was the perfect spot. Hipico is located on the rooftop of the new Hilton in Arcadia, overlooking the Santa Anita racetrack with the San Gabriel Mountains in the background. Golden hour here is beautiful -- the sunset alone is worth coming for. Everything was very pleasant, but the highlight was definitely the service. Our waitress was so welcoming and had the warmest smile, which made the whole evening feel even better. For a rooftop bar, the food was surprisingly delicious. We ordered a lot: Caesar salad, grilled octopus, flatbread, chicken wings, tortilla chips, and cocktails. The Caesar salad was so good, the octopus was beautifully plated and tender, the flatbread was crispy, the wings were crispy and tangy, and even the tortilla chips were great. The cocktails were also very tasty, especially their espresso martini drink. Arcadia and the San Gabriel Valley really needed a modern, trendy rooftop spot like this. It gives a little West Hollywood energy, but with SGV warmth and humble, friendly service. I'll definitely be coming back more often.

It was pretty busy when we visited but glad we made a reservation and had a great booth right by the heat lamps. Both the drinks and food were really enjoyable. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, queso fundido flatbread, chicken wings, and fries, and everything turned out great. You can tell there's effort put into making each dish and drink. Love checking out rooftop bars and would love to come back to enjoy the view during the daytime for some sun/sunset!

This place is so cool. I never knew that Arcadia had a Hilton with rooftop dining. Our waitress was very kind and the food was great. The rooftop overlooks Santa Anita raceway. Very cool spot to hang out.

Came here for a yelp elite event! got to try some amazing food with my friend and take cute sunset rooftop pictures. The manager David was super nice and made sure we had a great time! We tried the Chips and Guac, Octopus, Ceviche, and ended the night with some champagne and cheesecake! Would recommend visiting and vibing here!

Absolutely beautiful and such a lovely view!!! Beautiful cocktails, and the food was really delicious and came out quickly. A little bummed the shishito peppers weren't available but the great service made up for it. Would love to see some DJs up on the rooftop with some sexy vibes some day. Will definitely come back for the food!! Especially for summer!

Attended a private brunch event. Beautiful modern venue with views of the mountains. There are bar seating, loungers, high top, and normal table seatings. There's a covered area and open air space with umbrellas. Perfect spot for brunch and lounging. Just opened in January 2026! Awesome addition to the SGV rooftop dining scene. Free parking in the lot.

I found this place by accident while attending a card show at the hotel. I stopped by the lobby bar for a drink and noticed there was mention of another bar, so I asked the bartender about it. He told me there was a rooftop bar upstairs and suggested I check it out. While heading up, I also noticed someone setting up for live music in the lobby bar, which already gave the hotel a really fun atmosphere. The rooftop itself was beautiful, with amazing views overlooking the Santa Anita Racetrack. It was right around sunset, and the scenery was starting to turn gorgeous. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay long enough to fully enjoy the sunset because we had to leave, but even the short time I spent there was worth it. What really stood out to me was the service. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive. I was there by myself, and the staff kept checking in to make sure I was having a good time, which made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The Dodger game was playing on the TVs at the bar too, which made the vibe even better. I definitely recommend checking this place out. It still feels like a hidden gem, but I have a feeling people are starting to discover it and it's only a matter of time before this place is packed.

It's great to see more rooftop bars popping up in the SGV since there are so few around. This is a really nice spot to catch up with people over drinks. The cocktails and the space itself are visually stunning, and they have plenty of outdoor heaters if it gets cold, which is a big plus. I also like that it's located at a Hilton, so parking in the structure is easy and stress-free. The cocktails are a bit on the pricier side, but they make their own infused liqueurs, which makes it feel worth it. I could definitely see this becoming a go-to hangout spot for locals. I'd absolutely come back here every once in a while when I'm in the area and craving a well-made cocktail.

A friend and I were just looking to grab a quick drink and somehow stumbled upon this hidden gem and wow, what a find! From the moment we got there, everything exceeded our expectations. The drinks and appetizers were absolutely phenomenal, so flavorful and beautifully presented. They had a DJ playing, which really kept the vibe fun and lively without being overwhelming. It felt like the perfect balance of chill and upbeat. Taylor was our server and truly made the experience even better super attentive, friendly, and really knowledgeable about the menu. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, David, who came by to introduce himself. He was so kind and personable, and we really appreciated that extra touch. And I can't forget the views absolutely spectacular. If you're thinking about going, definitely time it for sunset and grab a drink. You won't regret it. Already looking forward to our next visit!

The Snow Cheese also didn't resemble cheese in taste or texture; it was an odd wet sauce with no real flavor. The only flavor we enjoyed was the Korean Fire, which was a simple sweet‑and‑spicy sauce. The chicken itself was decent, but the sauces really took away from the overall experience. The ambience was minimal. The restaurant was empty except for me and my fiancé, the walls were plain white with a single chicken‑themed light, and ordering was done through a screen. Soonheene actually started in Seoul's famous Gwangjang Market where they were known for their pancakes, so I was excited to check it out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Esther (the owner) and her daughter. They both went out of their way to explain the menu and answer all my questions with genuine smiles. That kind of hospitality really sets the tone for a meal. We ordered the Pork Mungbean Pancake, Rose Tteokbokki (creamy rice cakes with fish cake and sausage), Bibim-Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles), and a whole fried chicken split into two flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty. For half the chicken, I went with the original but added green onion and their special oriental sauce drizzle. The other half was spicy soy garlic. I'll admit, I liked the original better. I second-guessed myself when the owner's daughter mentioned soy garlic was their number one most popular flavor followed by honey butter, but I thought I would be different and try the spicy version. The spice kind of drowned out that garlicky soy flavor, so lesson learned. Next time I am going straight for the soy garlic and honey butter combo. For drinks, we tried the Korean coffee and cold yuzu drink, both refreshing and a nice complement to the food. By the end of the meal, everything was so good that I even found myself asking about catering their chicken for future events. Because when my combo arrived, the fries were MIA. Just a sandwich, two wings, and a can of Coke staring at me like a sad diet plate. I had to ask for them. Like a beggar. Like fries were some secret menu item you need a password for. The storekeeper's excuse? 'Fries are not on the order.' Sir. Ma'am. Human being. The description literally says fries. The picture on the menu shows fries. I'm holding a combo that includes a drink -- you think the Coke just volunteered to show up? Is this your first day, or are you testing my patience as a side hustle? To their credit -- they did bring the fries later. Warm, salty, forgiven. But only after I played detective with my own order. So is it good? Yeah, it's good. Is it drive-10-miles-out-of-your-way good? Absolutely not. Unless those 10 miles are downhill. With a tailwind. And someone else is paying for gas. And the grand finale? Almost $20 for this plate. For that price, the fries should've been delivered by a tiny bicycle and handed to me with a bow. Great sandwich. Decent fries (eventually). Mid wings. A cash register that clearly thinks I'm funding a small nation. And a 10-mile radius that I will not be expanding for this again. Monday, indeed.
