The quality of the kitchen is second to none and think I did well choosing Oaklea Kitchens to do the job the fitters were always there to answer any questions along the way too, they worked at a good rate and was finished on time as Oaklea had dated and left me with a fully fitted gleaning kitchen. They are a bit pricey though, so it would be worth trying to do a deal. Upstairs it's a bit of an carpet's graveyard! I couldn't believe how many roll ends there are up there - surely they'll never sell them all?! They're not particularly cheap either, so I don't know how they can afford to store them all. It's a lovely old building but a bit shabby and rather smelly upstairs. Could do with a little TLC. Otherwise I'd recommend it as the service is very good.

We spent several weeks trailing around the carpet shops in Doncaster and couldn't find anything…read morecheap enough but of good enough quality. I came across the ad for Carpets for all in the Yellow Pages and gave them a call. The bloke (Chris?) was really good - he wasn't full of sales patter, he just turned up with a wad of carpet samples and took some measurements. He gave us an exceptional price (worryingly low) and we paid a deposit, never knowing if we'd see him again! But he was true to his word and his lads did a fantastic job of carpeting our house. They supplied all the rods etc, without charging any extra, and they did a few other little bits and bobs (cupboards etc) while they were there. The carpets are, as promised, really good quality and they look fantastic. We had a join in one section and I was worried it would look bad, but it's almost invisible. I can't recommend this company highly enough. They get most of their trade through word of mouth and I can see why. Apparently the credit crunch has hit them a bit, and it would be a shame if things went pear shaped for them just because of the current financial situation. If you need carpets fitted, then shop around but definitely give these guys a call before you sign anywhere.
