Incredible staple of the community. I had the churro cold crew w/ almond milk & cold foam, husband had the Irish cream cold brew with whole milk. The barista forgot the almond milk in mine, but I didn't even care because it was soooo smooth & creamy and decadent. My husband loved it. Just get the largest size, you'll thank me later.

Large iced strawberry matcha with coconut milk

If you want a drink that actually tastes like what you've ordered, come here! I got a strawberry matcha with coconut milk and it was very refreshing. Also the coziest coffee shop I've ever been to. This place is what I have in mind when I think of the perfect café. Finished my drink before I could think to take a photo My partner had the bacon cheese scone and said it was wonderful.

The rooms in this house were filled with majestic furniture, primitive hutches, side tables inlaid with mother of the pearl, loads of cane, rattan, ladder, Hitchcock, and corner chairs. Other rooms are stocked with artwork, frames and lamps. Another nook had tons of crocks, old vintage bottles and glassware. We saw some Quimper plates, Lenox China, Fiestaware, cookie jars, and stoneware. The glass cases were lined with shelves of jewelry, hatpins, figurines and knickknacks. (Don't get sticker shock from the tags, some of the items are reasonable, but many are pricey). As you negotiate the somewhat rickety steps to go upstairs, you'll find more rooms with rugs, textiles, linens, looms and bed frames. The front second story room window was decorated with beautiful stained glass and designed with wicker furniture. I was transported back to another time as I walked the hallways of this beautiful home and imagined what life was like when this house was occupied in the 1800s. The fireplaces were now filled with antiques, and the mantles were lined with candlestick for collectors. The creaky floorboards made me smile, who else had tread on these old floors? Perhaps the were filled with dancers and tea parties. The man who was tending the store, was somewhat of a antique himself, but was just as nice as he could be. His slightly gruff exterior was overshadowed by his country accent and welcoming hand. "Well, if you're gonna come in, hurry on up.", he said. As we left he bid us goodbye and we said that we'd sure to come back next time we passed this way!!

The larger antiques, like the classic Leather chairs, chandeliers and furniture are along the walls so there is an open spacious feel to this store. The artwork is tastefully displayed. In one corner stands a majestic, cream colored baby grand piano (see pic) which can be yours for a pretty penny. It's striking. In another nook, there's a library of vintage books for sale and the tops of the shelves are lined with Steiff bears and and other collectibles. In the center of the shop is a rack of vintage coats, both men's and women's. And in the other window some lovely jewelry pieces might catch your eye. Most of the prices are reasonable, some are a tad high, but all in all this is a unique antique experience. One of the owners is a writer herself, and her books are also displayed. She and her husband were very helpful and knowledgeable. She informed us that they will also ship items at cost. The outside of the shop is just as inviting as the inside, dotted with planters, flower pots and shells. We left with our bundle neatly wrapped and enjoyed our visit to Downton Antiques.
