The owner has been here as long as I can remember. McMinnville truly is a small town and in some areas it doesn't have a lot to offer but in other areas it does. Granted, it is like I said this is the last of it's kind but this is the kind of town that everyone knows most everyone. You can still stop in places and see people you went to school with or get that personal help from a privately owned and operated business. You can't get that in larger places. In larger places they may be friendly enough but that's attached to the depths of your wallet. Not here.

I always think back to the great days when folks could go to Blockbuster and pick out a movie or two. When I saw the awning for video rental I literally started screaming for my husband to stop there. What is so great about Theater Time is not only the awesomeness of the old school video rental experience, not the piles of movies on sale for an extremely generous price but the gentleman who runs the establishment. He is an older gent, a retired police officer, and just as sweet as pie. Again, McCaysville is a tiny place. Most of its revenue probably comes from visitors. This gentleman was extremely friendly, despite us being an interracial couple and the fact I have tattoos and piercings (all things folks usually feel like they will be judged for in small towns). 2.50 to rent a new release is a deal. I urge everyone to come support the long term businesses here owned by the locals and avoid the businesses by the transplants trying to change what makes it great. Theater time is one of such places.

But not too many places in the back roads So when we spotted this IGA we were hoping they had a hot lunch counter like so many other IGAs we have been to. No lunch counter but they did have a public restroom. We decided to buy food to have a picnic (in the truck since it's freezing outside today!). What a great choice! Much healthier than finding fast food stop later. We found a sliced ham and got the bread and cheese and mayo for sandwiches. For some fresh veggies carrots, broccoli and cauliflower and apples. We had a great lunch. The folks who worked there were nice! The store was clean. They even have a hardware store inside wirh the grocery store. Paint and parts and even hot water heaters! They have an adjacent building that is the feed store and also a gas station.

I took it to the Crossville, TN store to get trade credit for something different and they refused the trade. I had only bought it 6 days ago and they refused the return. So now I am stuck with this stupid game. The only redeeming quality that gamestop has is the fact that you can trade games in. I bought a new game less than a week ago and they won't accept a trade in. The manager in this store also thought there was no need to be wearing a mask during a global pandemic. Been a Pro customer and very loyal to Gamestop for years. No more.
