I would recommend people in need look elsewhere. Especially if they're a smoker. Daily showers are a requirement, this normally wouldn't be a problem but in the 6 weeks I've been there I've only gotten 2 HOT showers, the rest have been cold. After 30 days you are required to pay $250 (if you have an income), for some this is doable but they have a book of rules, most of which they don't tell you about until you break one of those rules, then they can & will kick you out & NOT refund your money. Just today I got in trouble for smoking "on the property"... I was at the business next door, NOT on their property, and yet I was punished anyway. People who need services such as these are under enough stress without staff making it worse. read more

these people dont care about you or your children! programmers are allowed to steal clothes and staff takes whatever they want from donations for themselves and locks the rest up in a room so that nobody else can have what they may need and treat the people here like trash! they dont care to feed anyone a decent meal unless a company donates food which is very rare, think you can live on nothing but bread, soup and ham. look for any reason to give someone the boot depending on their moods. prejudice runs through the staff, they act like they are better than everyone their and they have all been here themselves. admister drug tests based of your skin color from what i have seen when most the staff should be drug tested and fired themselves. they do not value you as a person who needs help and assume that everyone, they take is strung the f*** out because they themselves are. read more

Be wary of this place. Fake ass Christians, evil evil Christians run this place and they are controlling as fuck ewwww weeee!!! They rell you when to poop and how long you should poop for. Not literally but figuratively. This place is atrocious with all its stupid ass rules, chores, residents and programmed bots running around secretly ruining your life by snitching on you left and right, and please do not eat here. Health Department should be on its way there soon. Lots of disgusting activities going on in their kitchen including unwashed hands before cooking or during cooking. They make the shelter residents switch out on cooking the meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner and while cooking the food the food is tasted with a spoon and then instead of using a new clean spoon, the saliva spoon is dipped back into the pot of food you're about to feed 70 women and children with. Absolutely gross. Should be food handlers permits and sanitary permits required before you allow unbathed, unteethwashed, and unhand washed shelter residents cook and prepare food for the entire shelter. So fucking gross. They're so strict with all their other stupid ass rules they forgot about this one. Hmmmm. read more
