I brought my daughter here the day before mother's day. She wanted a mullet haircut, so basically just cutting from the side. The stylist Nada completely botched her hair, cutting off from the to, sides, bottom. I paid $150, I knew it was botched but I didn't want my daughter to feel worse. We are back in NJ and she has been crying every day and not wanting to go to school. I contacted the salon and a gentleman was receptive to my concern after I sent pictures. He apologized and told the stylist that was supposed to work that day was out so Nada was a stand in. He offered 40% off next hair service and asked me to send my Venmo information for a refund. This was on Monday, I have still not received the refund. I cannot believe this place has such high reviews. The stylist has traumatized my daughter. read more

This Glam & Go location is located in the Loews Hotel Spa Entrance. It's truly a very nice location. I have had the opportunity to try the Glam and Go Signature Membership for over a month now as a temporary South Beach Resident. As I also went a few times to the one in Downtown Miami. It's been great having a place available to wash, blow dry and style my hair for a monthly unlimited price. I had 6 weddings within two months so this membership became very useful and enjoyable! The concept of Glam & Go is honestly magnificent. They use high quality products which really make your hair look great! I would like to note you don't have to be a member of Glam and Go nor a hotel guest to use Glam & Go. You can simply pay to just get a one time Blow Dry or style if you are not a member. They now also appear to offer packages. Appointments could conveniently be made by phone, online or your phone app. The appointments system is very organized and I never had any wait time. In addition, tips could be made with your credit card on file which is very convenient for someone like me which doesn't typically carry cash. Yovanna, has been once of the nicest and friendliest stylists of all! She has always made this experience truly enjoyable regardless if I have gone for a Signature Blow dry, braid, up-do or style. She has taken her time and always made an effort to make me look Glamours every time! The other other stylist which I don't believe are working there anymore were quiet a bit disappointing the first few times I went. They weren't very friendly at all or welcoming which may explain why the other reviews were not so positive. TIP: If you are not staying in the hotel or aren't walking distance. There is a public parking garage across from the hotel for $1.00 an hour which is a real bargain for South Beach! Stay Glamorous! read more

If you are looking for a color artist who is dedicated to her work and listens to your (somewhat) crazy ideas and can transform those ideas into real life- you absolutely need to go see Taren Winn at Glam & Go!! I have never trusted another color artist the way I trust Taren. I have wanted to put a dark magenta on the underside of my hair for over three years now- but I have been hesitant because of my profession and also having never done a bright fun color like pink before. Taren and I talked about it for a few weeks and she suggested clips ins for me to see if I would like it and also to help me get used to having the color in my hair. She bought blonde clips in and died them herself the night before my appt and sent me multiple pictures throughout the process to make sure she got the color exactly how I wanted. She nailed it!! I came in the next day and had the clip ins put in... in less than a month later I was back to get the permanent color and a balayage touch up of my blonde. I will not trust anyone else in miami with me hair moving forward. Taren has such a special talent to communicate with her clients and figure out exactly what they want (no matter how crazy it may sound) and then turn it into reality for them. Didn't end up getting my hair blown here. There was only one person on staff - small salon with two people there (when I went one was at lunch) so it's not a last minute place to go to. Definitely need an appointment unless you have unlimited time. Otherwise it's convenient if you are staying at Lowe's. Didn't want to leave a low rating but wanted to share this important feedback in case someone is trying to go somewhere that will take walk ins easily. read more

Cierra is just amazing!! I called the salon and they gave me an appointment a month ago, and overbooked her, giving me only 30 min, between her appointments. I had to get my hair washed, and blow dry it under 30 min. Which seemed quite impossible. But Cierra did it! She had to wash and blow dry my voluminous hair under 30 min. This place is the absolute worst in so many regards. All the stylists are disgruntled with the owner and would complain to me about their low pay. They were always late or didn't show up on occasion. Most of them came over from places like the hair cuttery with zero to little experience. I was lured in by the incredibly great price and convenience to where I lived. But please know you get what you pay for. They also charged my card fraudulently over 5 times once was $4000 and to date they still are charging me for a membership fee of $150 which I cancelled months ago. I am reporting them to the state AG and BBB. I never write terrible reviews as I would not want to hurt a small business but after 10 second chances where they said they would correct the problems they never do just lies. I feel I need to let the public know about these people. Buyer Beware. I believe they are in financial distress so they are desperate to run false charges. Run.... read more
