And not just any cheese, french cheese! And not just anywhere, in France, in Rouen! The most important city of Normandy, once the city of kings, and the city of robust cheese trade, where every cheese from every part of France passed through. The restaurant is a simple and joyful lightly decorated, unmistakably french saloon. The staff are very helpful, a reduced english menu exists, but the best choices are in the french menu! Don't miss the appetizers, they are melting! And the different types of heavenly fondue are in the middle page! They are minimum for two people, so take your friend with you. I recommend red wine, even with all this cheese, they have 3 great choices by the glass and even more by the bottle. Finish your meal with a profiterol, and you're half way to heaven. The cheesy heaven with fondue rivers and parmesan mountains, camembert forest and gruyere fields.

The only chicken dish had liver. Shrimp Appetizer was small and tackily served in a throw away container with tiny shrimp. Veal dish was terrible. No one was in at 7:30, but the menu looked fun. It was lovely, picture perfect, entertaining to the eyes and palate cuisine. Every course was fun. L'Oeuf Parfait was perfect. Low temperature cooking is new for me.The cool temperature of the first course made all the individual flavors stand out. I followed up with Le Canard, which came out as an architectural masterpiece. This was another dish with multiple flavors and multiple textures that tasted as good as it looked. Finishing with Poire, a marinated pear with chocolate shavings and chocolate ganache topped off the Prix Fixe meal. There were two levels of meals above this that looked just as incredible on the neighboring tables. The meal also started with a fun Amuse Bouche and ended with a trio of miniature desserts after coffee. If you enjoy a fabulous setting, architectural food, new tastes and flavors, then this is a place for you.
