I have had nothing but positive experiences when visiting the Ho Lee Chow. In fact, each experience just gets better and better. Friendly service, tailored to the needs of the clients, reasonable prices, tasty food and a business that remembers the customers.
I have recently found that I have a wheat allergy - something that makes dining out a nightmare. However, there is no cause for concern when dining here. Not only will they make sure your dishes are wheat / gluten free, they have changed their recipes for items, for example tasty Prawn Crackers ( which, I swear, are better than the wheat versions ) and will happily make adjustments to the banquet menus, where possible, including the Early Bird menu. For example, when I last visited the restaurant, the group I was with decided to go for the Early Bird menu. I thought I would have to miss out on the platter course because of the contents. However, adjustments were made so that I could have just as many dishes as my companions ( ribs, chicken wings, pickled vegetables, prawn ball ). Their reason for changing the menu - "You don't want a change because you don't like something - it's because you physically can't have something". What a wonderful experience.
