Meh. While Yelping…read moreI've found that there are two kind of shops Glasgow has in abudance - vintage and junk. The common theme with both is they are almost always completely devoid of order, meaning unearthing an item of any value involves something of an expedition. As such, you know what to expect with a shop like Superbuys. In one corner, there's cat flaps, in another there's Hannah Montana pencil cases. If you're in the mood for rummaging, you could probably unearth something here. As it happens, I wasn't. Two stars, and that's all your getting.

Superbuys is an example of what I like to call the "assorted crap" retail genre. That's not to put…read moreit down. You can find an awful lot of useful stuff in these assorted crap shops. This assorted crap shop, in Rutherglen, is packed to the brim with items such as front door signs, hair straighteners, wood glue, photo frames and tons of other unrelated stuff. I even found a golliwog in the corner (are they even legal anymore?!). So if you happen to be in the Rutherglen area and are looking for the sort of odd little item you are not sure what sort of shop would sell, try Superbuys as you will no doubt find it in there. Somewhere.
