8/26/25- the visit started out good with the floor staff helping me find prices on products that had been put on the floor. They even helped me verify sale prices on some items, or so I thought. When I got to the check out the cashier refused to honor the sale prices even though the floor staff had verified the sale prices for me and the sign saying the product was on sale was right near the item. The cashier refused to get someone to verify the price and would not call a manager. They may advertise great sale prices, but if the workers won't honor the sales then the sales are useless. The cashier was also super rude and talked down to me like how dare I shop their if I want a sale price honored. Very condescending and treated me like she would treat a poor person. Shows the character that Hobby Lobby puts front and center. Horrible customer service. read more

I had purchased some items in the Parker location and the associate who rang me up didn't give me the sale price. The associate here was amazing. She knew what was on sale and I didn't need to show her the photos I had taken of the items on sale. I shopped before taking my price adjustment items to the exchange/refund cashier. She helped me on my prior visit and was friendly then as well. I found items I wanted and then some. read more

Last night we stopped on by to check out the Christmas ornaments that are 40% off ( as usual) and my other half figured we'd only look. Nope, he found loads of goodies and at great prices. This location is near to us, and on the few trips we've been here I've found the shelves are always well stocked and it's always well lit The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable. I've never had a problem finding someone to help me when I've needed to locate something. We filled up the cart, chatted with our cashier and loaded the car. So easy to say, Yes, we'll be back. read more

My daughter wife and I came in for some yarn and crochet hooks. Staff were friendly and helpful. The selection was robust and nice qualities. We needed help finding a few items and we were met with a helpful smile and friendly attitude. I see most of the reviews were from years ago. I don't believe those are a reflection of the store and service today. We only experienced one small aspect of what the store offers. The line for check out was long but smooth and moderately quick. Heyyyyy Colorado! So a little disappointed with this store. With us in a pandemic you would think cleanliness would be their focus. I traveled to this store first thing in the morning. Whole shopping for my holiday decor I found myself having to use the restroom. Well low and behold the bathroom was DISGUSTING!!! I mean where is the COVID compliance officer when you need one. Who ever is in charge of cleaning the restrooms here should be fired. The amount of dirt and bacteria is unreal. Please see photos for proof.why isn't the general manager or manager checking behind their employees and if they are and this was signed off everyone should be let go. Alsooooo don't forget to take your sani-paper with you into the stall. Lmao why is it on the OUTSIDE of the at stall doesn't help! Instead of worrying if people will be stealing this holiday season. I went in for a few yards of fabric and spoke with Gladys during my shopping experience. She is one on the most pleasant people I have ever had the chance to interact with. 10/10 customer service and will come back just in the chances of crossing paths again! I'm in some shock still after my visit yesterday.... 9/4/23. To the manager with the short black curly hair, I was the customer behind the family you yelled at. What the heck is wrong with you? I witnessed you scream at the family when they were being as calm as they could be trying to explain to you that there item was discounted literally next to the sign it said it was discounted. They did so much work by going to check out the sign, explaining it to you just for you to say "it's not my problem". I don't know what's going on with you, but I hope it gets better because I've never seen a manager so unprofessional towards a customer. Literally screaming back and forth at eachother while they walked out (and tbh the customer was completely in the right). While this was going on a line stacked up and I ended up waiting in line for over 20 minutes with only one lane open as the manager did nothing. There was workers all over the floor but no one could help that? Idk I have a horrible taste in my mouth after that. Your workers seem nervous over the management, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was abuse going on. Why on earth is this place rated low!?? I love the clearance sections. They always have something fun or something I just couldn't pass up on. And the clearance is cheap cheap cheap. The weekly sales are pretty great. Every week is a new section of stuff on sale; which is great, cause I'll go back when the stuff will be on sale and get it. I have spent several hundred dollars at this Hobby Lobby over the last several weeks. Twice now, the cashier has 'forgotten' to apply my 40% off coupon I receive every so often as a Rewards Member. Not that my coupon wasn't valid, or not applicable to a certain item, she simply forgot. Both times. So today, I made sure before I left the store that I was given the discount and she said she didn't get it on there after I said twice I was using this coupon and had it up on my phone. She then told me I could get back in line and wait to return one of the items, after which they could re sell it to me with 40 percent off. Personally, $5 off of an $11.99 item is not something I'm going to get back in line and wait 10-15 minutes to return and then have to re-purchase. Needless to say, I won't be returning. LOSING BUISNESS OVER NOTHING!!! . . I'm a regular and loyal customer at Hobby Lobby. I work full-time as an artist and designer who creates primarily in the Denver/Aurora community and have used the location off of Alemada Ave. In Aurora for a few years now. Over the last year I have experienced some of the worst possible customer service and treatment from a retail oulet. I noticed that every time my wife and I shop there they are always calling for security checks and sending their asset protection to trail us around the store. This makes for quite the unpleasent shopping experience and it happens so often it can't be coincidence. In fact the reason I'm writing this review is because today after making another large purchase of paper, canvas, and ink not only were we harassed in the store but they went as far as to send an asset protection worker out to check on us in a manner we felt was aggressive and inconsistent with the values that the whole company in based upon. I am writing this long winded review to protect fellow artists and shoppers from having to deal with similar experiences. I will not let this detur me from shopping there and have actually decided to write reviews EVERY TIME we are put through this. I believe it is based solely on our appearance as we are younger and covered with tattoos etc. And believe it is unfair that they put people through that without just cause. I will also be contacting the corporate office and going on my social media business accounts to let my large following know what is going on at this location. Welp....I do love Hobby Lobby's array of merchandise. I usually end up spending too much money here finding things I don't need but...on to my review! There was 1 & 1/2 helpful employees at this Aurora Location. I was looking for something and walked up to a small group of employees looking as though I needed assistance. Just me...standing there looking at them. No one asked if I needed help. I should have known that this would happen because the store manager was a part of this group and he was quite loud and seemed to be talking down to his employees as I could see and hear him from isles away before I approached them. Awkward #1. I finally interrupted them and he responded to my question by shaking his head from side to side..as in no. Awkward #2. He said nothing to me. Awkward #3. Bizarre to say the least. Definitely not a very good work environment. Awkward! Later on....I'm trying to find someone again to ask another question and I just can't seem to find an employee. I 'hear' them but they are nowhere to be found. No one in this store asks how you are doing or if you need help. Everyone is just waaaay too busy and has complete tunnel vision. Customer service? One lady (1) was helpful and the girl (1/2) that checked me out was nice. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR FRAMING DEPARTMENT. Framing department unwilling to work with me after waiting over two weeks to tell me they bent a custom picture I had them custom frame. Instead of giving me a discount they offered to make me wait for them to find and buy a replacement and reframe it when I've already waited 2.5 weeks for them to tell me they ruined my product. I honestly have not had an issue here at all besides three of their fish lamps not being in great condition. However, the store manager was so kind and helped us out with that issue. Not only did the managers provide assistance with our lamp issue, but they also helped us with a jersey 3D box issue we had. I've had nothing but great customer service here and the willing to help and make sure we are taken care of made it even better; we definitely felt taken care of. No one ever helps me, I always come in here with my baby in a stroller and I get stared at like I'm going to take something. I'm actually a work at home mom and sell my crafts. I don't appreciate the rude stares and lack of customer service from employees. If I didn't have to come here I wouldn't. I guess this what I get for living in Aurora... Unfortunately this hobby lobby decided to bless me with the one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life as far as shopping goes. They decided bc I am homeless and walked in their store with a backpack and a suitcase that they were going to dub me a shop lifter. I even apologized for my bags and asked if I should have left them up front. So they followed me throughout my whole time shopping there, while also making security announcements on the intercom. I was anything but sketchy I was polite and asked the manager to help me locate items and than bought everything in my cart at the end. I couldn't believe how rude they were to me, my situation although terrible doesn't dub me a thief, thanks for making me feel worse about my current life situation, like I'm not already going through enough, Jesus and I spent $50 bucks in the store to ad to it. The one star is for the amazing employees that have to endure the lack of professionalism from their manager. I was accused of stealing a hat that was on display. While, yes, my hat was the same brand from the ones they had, mine was obviously older and worn. Instead of doing what is actually supposed to done in the case of a possible theft, he put his employees in possible danger by making them ask us if I had stolen it. Everybody knows that if someone were ACTUALLY stealing, you do not approach them and simply call security/police for the possible risk of said thief being dangerous. He followed my friend and I around the store and continued to look us up and down and denied that he did so. When we asked to speak to him he became very aggressive and defensive and was waving his hands in our faces and disregarded everything we were saying. I could tell that not one single employee there is happy and I honestly dont feel safe returning but want to make sure that those employees are being treated better. He claimed that he didnt even notice us yet he could recall every instant he walked passed up. The managers name is Eric Holmes and I would like for something to be done about this and will be contacting corporate. read more

We were looking for a ribbon to go around my sister's wedding dress and she went above and beyond to help us find a ribbon and make sure we got the best part of it. I bought several bundles of yarn at the end of January for a March birthday project I was working on for my daughter. At the end of the project I realized I was one bundle short. The sales representative told me they were out of stock and would possibly get some in the following Thursday, but when I went back the item was still not available, this time the representative told me to call and talk to a representative that was over that department, when I called I was told that the warehouse was out of the color and someone would call me when the color came in. That was the middle of March. By the second week of April I still had not heard from them, so I went back into the store only to be told the color was no longer available, at that time it was the end of April. Disappointed I went online and was shocked to see that Hobby Lobby still had the color in stock! It's obvious to me that the representative never bothered to see if the yarn color was discontinued. The yarn and shipping cost me $11.00!!! That's totally ridiculous! One bundle of yarn $11.00!!! There's nothing worse then employees not doing their best to satisfy their customers! The representatives should have tried harder to find the yarn and then had it sent to their store for me to pick up. read more

I had a weird experience here. I was excited about this store since it's so big, and their prices are great. I love crafts and decor but I'm pretty disappointed in your employees. It just takes one bad experience for someone to form an aversion to a place. I work in customer service and I realize how crazy people can be but I'm a little blown away by the way I was treated by your cashier Natalie and the Supervisor. It all had to do with a discount not being applied and really poorly labeled shelves. I don't need to get in the specifics but this Hobby Lobby lost my business because of two dollars. Seriously. I don't even care about the the money, it was the way I was treated and the terrible way that those two individuals handled the situation. Tone, action, and problem solving abilities by happy and resourceful workers are what makes businesses successful and NONE of this was displayed by these individuals. I left feeling disrespected, deceived, and angry. I'm going to avoid this location and make the drive out to Parker, or spend a few more dollars and go to a closer craft store from now on and I would recommend everyone else do the same unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen and an idiot. In the future I would recommend better training for the employees and better labeling on your shelves since this clearly appears to be a common issue with you. read more

I will NEVER go back to this location again. I spent 2 hours trying to find stuff for my wedding and after purchasing well over $150 worth of product I went to take a step out of the store and the buzzers went off. I went to seek out an employee, her name was Rebecca, she checked all of my bags and come to find we had 2 small bags at the bottom of the cart that were overlooked. She treated me like a true criminal! She made it known in front of the entire store that shop lifting wasn't taken lightly, I quickly proceeded to take my wallet out and apologized for the over sight. She walked me to the store manager and the store manager also treated me like a criminal asking if I have any history shop lifting. She cut me off at my explanation and said she was going to let it "slide" this time and not giving me a ticket. She had complete attitude the whole time. A ticket for $6 worth of product that I hadn't even left the store with!!!! I was mortified at how they treated me. I returned ALL of my product the next day and asked that they treat honest good citizens with more compassion next time. That store manager should be ashamed of herself.
