She was, rightfully, concerned and assured me that this was not their usual attitude in dealing with their customers and would try to make sure that this does not happen again. I find it unusual and also commendable that an owner takes the time to address something like this. I look forward to giving my business in the future.

I visited Everyday Quilting Company for the first time today. I brought in an almost finished…read morewall hanging. I was looking for ideas about how to add a border and about what colors might work with the wide variety of colors in the wall hanging. Their customer service was fabulous! Both employees brought bolts of fabric for me to consider, and suggested that I consider a double border. With their help, I was quickly able to pick colors, and the double border allowed me to highlight several colors in the wall hanging so that they will really pop. They calculated the amount of fabric I would need for the border and the backing and off I went, excited to have found something that I think will be really pretty when finished. They do long arm quilting there so when I have the borders completed I can take it there to have the actual quilting done. I was very impressed with how friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful they were and will definitely visit again. And their prices were very reasonable!

Unfortunately, I didn't buy enough of it so the store is being very kind and shipping me more. I enjoyed talking to Andrea, since she's easy to chat with and really funny. She didn't look at me at all and I am not sure if she was angry with me or something else. I did have to ring the bell after a lengthy wait at the check out. I generally try to be understanding, especially since There were only two employees in the store. I also witnessed her being rude to a customer who asked about a particular fabric. I was going to bring this to the attention of the store manager. Turns out she is the store manager!

What a fun little fabric wonderland!…read more I finally got to visit The Fabric Cobbler in person--and let me just say, Scarlett has created the cutest fabric store ever! I spent quite a bit of time happily perusing all the wonderful and unique fabrics. And then I discovered her FABRIC PANEL LIBRARY... I was absolutely astounded by how HUGE it is and by all the beautiful designs available. It's basically a treasure hunt, except the treasure is FABRIC--and I am very easily distracted by fabric. I often catch Scarlett on Whatnot, so it was especially fun to finally walk into her shop and see all the magic in person. She has an amazing selection of unique books, notions, and pretty much every fabric design you could possibly imagine. There is something exciting around every corner! The whole shop is a treasure trove of creativity, color, and fun. I could have stayed for hours... and, judging by my shopping, apparently I did! I must add something to her Yelp site... "buy some paint, architectural miniature trees, postcards with excellent gentle advice and make a friend." Note: I'm a senior (though with chartreuse hair) and in a Walker... being on a limited traveling budget, I still was shopping so the advice given by the owner Hilary was a gift plus she was patient and kind.
