Have I told you lately how much I love this store. I can walk around for hours, but today I was on a mission.... So couldn't do my normal walking around. I needed to buy Christmas wrapping paper, gift bags, gift tags, tissue paper, tape, boxes and a few gifts for my daughters new bedroom. And a nice wooden Man- Cave sign for my son. All Christmas items were 70% off and wall art were 40-50% off. Store was packed as expected with Christmas in a few days, but they got the lines down pretty fast and staff were all friendly and willing to help. read more

Yesterday was my 65th Birthday. I went to this hobby lobby with my niece's 8-year-old child to quickly pick something up. I walked in about 10 or so feet and began experiencing a medical emergency. I knew I could not make it to the back of the store where the restrooms were as I was extremely dizzy about to pass out and was extremely nauseous. I went up to the cashier who was around my same age and said that I was ill, and could I have a plastic bag as I was going to possibly vomit. She said they don't do that. I pleaded and I do mean pleaded and she finally gave me the smallest plastic bag she could find, and I believe they carry. It would have gone all over. I asked for another and said come on I am ill. She verbally sighed and gave me another the same size. I have never been so disgusted it my life at the treatment from this employee. Never asked if I was ok although I am sure I was pale as could be or a shade of green. I have a heart condition and clearly was in distress. I managed to make it back to my car where was husband was waiting and the child being afraid and said that I did something wrong because I was told I could not have a bag. I heart this store! It's originally from the south...Oklahoma city to be exact.. I grew up having them right down the street! Since they are a Christian store, they are in fact closed on Sundays. Which is kind of a pain, but I would definitely not let that stand in your way. Go another day! I definitely think it beyond a craft store. More like a Home Goods, and Michaels and A piece of heaven all wrapped into one. I would describe it as an Interior Designers dream come true. It has EVERYTHING you'd ever need. MANY door knobs, paint, fake flowers, wide variety of fabrics, Furniture, etc., all at a cheap price. I must say a piece of me has been missing since I left Texas 7 years ago. I have visited this particular Hobby Lobby (Easton store) before, but today I went there to return an item and to shop for additional items. I was only in the door a few seconds when I was looking for where to go to make my return. The cashier who was currently at Register #1 (Kelly), made a point to speak very loudly to me that I needed to go to Register #2 while also waving her arm and pointing like I was supposed to know immediately that her register (which was where the sign was for returns and exchanges) was not available. I felt awful, especially since the store was very busy, so I felt like everyone was looking at me when she felt the need to be so dramatic and LOUD! She could have told me in a more polite and quieter manner!!!! When it came time to check out with my purchases, I chose to wait in a longer line rather than go through Kelly's line! I will think twice before I shop at this Hobby Lobby again. I want to add that the person who actually did process my return at Register #2 was very polite and helpful. Visited this store yesterday to pick up a few items for the kids craft table for thanksgiving. I was excited because I had decided that I wanted to start doing some watercolors again as well. They had a set on sales so I got it as well. When I got home the watercolor set wasn't in my bag - the receipt showed I had paid for it! So back I trudged today. They had my bag in the back when the manager gave it to me he said "here's your bag you left behind"! No, sorry buddy I clearly put those items on the counter cause my receipt shows I paid for it - so try again. I went to this store today, Easton PA and couldn't get waited on, but a woman who appeared after me got all the help she could want. I will never shop here again. The manager of the store who was standing around with the other cashiers should be retrained on how to treat their customers. I left my items on the floor and walked out. TERRIBLE SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION!!! I Was looking to order a specific item I was told I could order it at the front desk which I did on a Thursday the woman said it would be on the truck for that coming Tuesday and I would receive a call on Thursday. Friday after I was supposed to get a call I called them and the woman told me no it wouldn't be on this truck it would be on the next truck as I explain to the girl who I put the order in with I told this woman Laurie it was a time sensitive she said I would receive a call Wednesday I ended up calling them and was on hold so long I had to hang up. I than received a voicemail saying that the item was out of stock! After 2 weeks of waiting not one person knew this?!? Than shocker it was on their website and available for purchase except I would have to pay double because of shipping! Really great store!!! They have a HUGE selection of home decor and decorations for holidays. My first time ever at this store was yesterday and they had a huge selection of Christmas decorations and fall decorations. They had very cute Halloween decorations that I almost bought but stopped myself. The home decoration selection was impressive, there are many different color combinations that could work into anyone's style. The fabric section is small, but much of what they carry says it is exclusive to their store. The prices were reasonable for fabric and the prints were cute. They also had a nice variety of craft kits and model kits. There were a ton of vases and containers and baskets. I think the fake flower selection is bigger at other craft stores though. If you "like" them on facebook then you get updated on their coupons and store ads. I will definitely be going back for the holidays to get supplies for projects and to look at their enormous ornament displays. read more

And when the store doesn't have enough in stock of an item I need, the girls are wonderful about ordering in more and keeping me updated to the statis of my order. Yes, Hobby Lobby is as good as it gets!! The entire staff is friendly, helpful and they definately get my vote for the best craft/party store in the LV.
