One thing is for sure, they do stock great art supplies for kids, finger painting, acryllics that wash off easily, kid art frocks, cool sticks with foam pads stuck to the end of them for kids to paint with stamping and foam (not sure what the real name for the stick foam thing is) and they also stock these cool little tubs for kids that are non-spill paint tubs. So if you want to leave your kiddies to paint unsupervised, at least when they tip the paint over it doesn't spill - what a great invention! They only cost $1-$2 a little tub so you can buy one for every colour, very easy to clean too and it holds the actual brush as there's a hole in the top. I got a lot of supplies here for my kids art wise, crayon wise and frock wise... and in the back, you can usually get some good deals on different sized canvases if you're wanting to paint something cool on material. It's a bit hard to understand the prices and the sizes of the canvas supply in the back of the shop but there's always someone willing to lend you a hand.

At Cash Converters most of the stuff you see is in fairly good condition and if its things like a bicycle or tools or even a surf board sometimes starting out with a second hand one from Cash Converters is a good idea. They do also have a lending and selling area so if you have something that is in good condition and u want to get rid of it take it down to Cash Converters for an easy sale. This also avoids having to put ad's up online and takes the time wasting out of selling. If you borrow money be aware though because they will have a crazy high interest rate almost to the point of it not being worth it.

Tricks that they have include hiding item defects by covering them with price tags, and when it comes to electrical goods (such as game consoles), they shrink wrap them so that you cannot see item defects until after the purchase has already been made. They may also offer you a lower price on an item if you agree to no warranty, though do not do this! If the item is immediately faulty when you get home, they will have a 'too bad' kind of attitude. I have not tried selling anything to them or getting a loan through them, nor would I considering my purchasing experiences with them. Some of the items that they sell are pretty good, it is a shame that they lack good customer service, and feel the need to mislead customers in order to move stock. If you are interested in used goods, stick to ebay, as you have buyer protection through PayPal.

As we were recently diagnosed with COVID we were not game to ask for another delivery date as goodness knows when that would have been. We asked the delivery people to drop our couch on our outside deck and they refused (no idea why). They delivered into a carport and know we cannot move it into the house (we are both in our 70's and there are stairs leading into the house from the carport) but we could have if it had been delivered onto our deck. We had a great experience with the male salesman at the time of purchase however the female salesperson was rude both on the floor and on the phone. At lease we are happy with the couch or at least will be if we ever get it into the house
