I would go with a different company next time. The driver was on time, i give him that but he was vary rude while driving around and trying to pick up the rest of our party. He started to argue with me where places were in the town i live in. (He was wrong) Then when trying to give him directions he started to get upset and ended up yelling at me that he needed an address. (He should not be yelling at people that are paying hundreds of dollars for a limo, just saying) The limo was nice. A little cramped. Said it fit 10, and it barely did. I ended up giving the guy directions the whole time because he did not know how to use the GPS on his phone. (I should have got paid a little bit too!) And i'm pretty sure he was taking pictures of us dancing.... Every time i went buy him his phone was out and i could hear the shutter noise... Now for some events leading to the rental that i was disappointed in. This was for my Aunts Bachelorette party, and at a silent auction a year and a half ago she purchased the limousine voucher, when she called to use it she was told it was expired even though there is not a printed expiration date. Then was told that they had not given them out in 2 years so they knew it was expired. So she ended up paying for it they did give her a discount but i felt like they wanted us to know that with the poor mannered driver, and the beat up limo. Over all we did have a fun time, dont get me wrong, but for what she paid for, the guy should have been nicer. And he should have been better prepared with a GPS that worked. read more

I needed a limo for my birthday party. I called up Hobo Limo. They were on time, super friendly, and very clean. My limo didn't have a bottle opener. So instead of having to go without, my driver went back to her house and got one for us. I really appreciated it. My friends loved the limo and my party went down as one of the best in history. The limo put it over the top! It was perfect! Thanks Hobo Limo! I will definitely use Hobo Limo again. :) read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....They are unethical and will do/say anything to make a dollar. We used them for a party...had to pick up one of the girls at the airport, then to lunch. The driver didn't know where he was going, we had to tell him he had passed the restaurant. He argues and said No....then started laughing because he had passed it. The driver was dressed unprofessionally. At least he arrived with a collared shirt...within an hour the shirt was off and he wore a T-Shirt for the rest of the afternoon/evening. Called to speak with the owner, never met him in person, however over the phone also sounded unprofessional, illiterate and has a very limited vocabulary. There are numerous other limousine companies out there, I would advise using another company. I don't know how they are in business. read more

Had a blast on the hobo limo! Driver was on time and got us safely to our destination in the pouring rain. He was even nice enough to stop half way for a bathroom break. Made it home safely as well after an enjoyable night. Thanks hobo limo!! read more

My brother ordered this limo for my bachelor party. Driver was cool, showed up on time. The biggest issue was the piece of crap limo that he showed up in. Car not washed, supposed to seat 14, we barely fit 12. Separator window between us and driver did not work so we had no privacy from driver. Car scraped over every speed bump we drove over, 3 speakers in far back end of Limo did not work, interior lights that turn on when door opens stayed on the entire time, and the sunroof did not open. Again the driver was cool, but the limo itself sucked. I would defiantly not recommend this company to anyone I know. read more

I was one of the 22 girls involved in the review left by Paulette H. and I am very disappointed with the level of service provided by Hobo Limousine. I understand that 'things' happen, but to be impolite and show poor effort to try and rectify the problem, just shows that customer service and satisfaction is not a priority. Save yourself a headache and find another company. Hobo Limousine is a complete joke! My husband and I put in a deposit four months before our wedding to reserve a white escalade limo. We called the week of the wedding just to confirm the times of pick up and they informed us that they had given the limo to another customer. They didn't even apologize. They told us they would find us another limo through another company and it ended up being the most hideous hummer limo ever. It looked like a party bus. Our wedding was classy and elegant and this limo was the complete opposite and not what we reserved at all. After our wedding we called to complain about what happened and my husband had to argue for over a half hour on the phone to even get our deposit back. They claimed that they found us a limo so they should be able to keep the deposit. Finally they told us they would comp us a limo for four hours the next time we needed one because of our hassle. Surprise surprise, when it came time to pay up the comped limo they denied they had ever promised us the compensation. Horrid customer service and professionalism. My opinion, don't take the chance of this happening to you. Find another limo company. There are countless other ones to choose from. read more

Horrible plain and simple! I booked them for my wedding, first off I paid 2 months in advance. Upon pickup I was not there only my fiance and the wedding party was there. The driver got out of the limo and started harrassing my fiance for payment and signing paperwork when it was arranged that I would do all the paperwork after our ceremony upon drop off. Making my already stressed out soon to be wife do all this paperwork in her dress is ridiculous. Upon arrival at the location the driver clearly didnt listen to my instructions and parked in the completely wrong spot making my wedding party move and shift all of our plans. When my fiance told the driver he went in the wrong way he started arguing with her and saying he cant turn the limo around and go the right way. So thats strike 2. Strike 3 was then the driver came walking down my wedding aisle making me sign paperwork and take a credit card imprint right before my ceremony. Needless to say he didnt get a tip. And I hate that gratuity was included because the company and the driver dont deserve one at all. Never book with them. P.S. The limo was all damaged on the inside as well, roof mirror broken in 3 spots, carpets were horrible. Seats and leather ripped. read more

Do Not Use Hobo Limousine Service. These people do not return calls, Do not refund when they say they are going to. They send Limos without working A/C. They say the A/C will start working, to get you to get in the car, it never does. In fact blows hotter air than outside. They almost gave my 86 year old mother Heat Stroke from a hour and a half ride in 100+ degree weather with no A/C. We had to take my mom home ourselves. After numerous calls we were promised a full refund that has not happened. I know A/C can breakdown but they should not have told my mom to get in the car knowing it was broken. I was told I would receive a full refund in 72 hours it has now been 8 days and they will not return my calls. Do not pay for a Limo upfront is the lesson Learned. read more

Folks, whatever you do, do not rent from these people. I normally don't write reviews but I just could not go without writing a review on HOBO LIMO. They have facilities in the Bay Area and Sacramento so if you see Hobo Limosine, it is all the same company. Look at the reviews....they are ALL very bad except for one of the reviews!! I have used these guys twice now so I think I am qualified to give the review I am about to give. We used them a year and a half ago for a 50th birthday party. When the limo showed up, it was old and beat up. That was really not a big deal but when we got in the limo, it was sticky and very dirty. Booze had been spilled everywhere and they had not wiped it up.We told the driver who said he hadn't checked it out because the driver who drops it off the night before is supposed to clean it. He didn't offer to clean it so we went inside and got a towel and cleaned it ourselves. Then, there is a mirror on the ceiling of the limo and lipstick was all over it. We wiped that off, too. The worst part was somebody had obviously used illegal substances in it as well as there was residue everywhere. I don't know about you but I don't want to be busted for doing something I didn't do so we cleaned that up as well. When we spoke to the owner about this just after the ride, he offered to take $200 off of the ride, which was a pretty cool gesture so I got over it and decided I would give them another chance if the opportunity came up again. So, it was my sister's 50th birthday and I called them about six weeks before her birthday and asked for a quote. They quoted a price and I agreed to the price and they took a $100 deposit from me. When I got the quote, it was $20 more an hour than they had quoted over the phone so I called to cancel the reservation. I thought, oh no, here we go again. When I called them back though, they fixed the quote and I kept the reservation. The day before my sister's birthday, I called them to confirm the reservation and they told me that they had subcontracted my reservation to another limo service called STARLIGHT LIMOSINE I told them that I wasn't happy with this but it was the day before my event and I had no choice but to keep the reservation. On the day of the reservation, the limo shows up and it is crashed in in the front and crashed in in the back. I had 11 women waiting to get inside and I had no choice but to get the girls in it. We had no other ride. The limo didn't look great but again, we had no choice but to take it. The driver told us that the driver who had the limo the night before had crashed it and he hadn't realized it until it was too late. Unlikely story, but we had to move on down the road or we would lose $500 worth of deposits at t wineries we were visiting in Napa. When we got in the limo, it was pretty hot so we asked the driver to crank up the air conditioning. He said it was up as far as it would go. About an hour into the ride, he admitted that the air didn't work. This was a bit of a problem since it was 112 degrees in Napa that day. We told the driver over and over that it was miserably hot in the back of the limo but there was nothing he could do. I had three girls getting sick in the car because it was so hot. About 4 pm, he tried to call STARLITE LIMOSINE and get another car but there was nothing available. The driver and the owner of STARLITE LIMO were arguing over the phone about who's fault this was while we are all dying of heat stroke. We made it back alive but when I tried to call HOBO LIMOSINE and tell them what happened, they said it was not their problem because they subcontrated out with STARLITE. I, of course, told them that THAT was not MY problem. I didn't ask for them to contract the ride out. They then told me that they did my a favor by getting STARLITE to take the reservation. That's when I lost it. If they couldn't handle the business, they should have told me. They then said they tried to call me and let me know that they would be switching the contract, but that was a total lie. I have my phone with me 24/7 because I am a salesperson and nobody called me. So, then I tried calling Starlight and they just said "too bad, so sad, about your experience" and refused to do anything. I paid $700 for this ride. I could have paid somebody else who had a working limo $700 to drive us around but didn't get the chance to do this. At this point, neither Starlight nor Hobo Limo will do anything about this. They keep blaming this on each other. This is not right and it's not legal. They will be finding that out very soon. DO NOT USE STARLIGHT AND DO NOT USE HOBO LIMOSINE!!!!!!!! They are cheats and liars and their cars are JUNK. They look like crap on the outside and they will try to rip you off every chance they get. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, pay attention to this review. What a disaster! We reserved their 10 passenger car for the day, and it was a complete mess. The outside of the car looked beat up, and the inside was dirty, trash in the cup holders, lighted ceiling cracked, the door handle was held on with string. Along with the glasses, there were plastic cups which had visible dirt around the rims and on the inside. As if this wasn't enough, the car broke down and we were stuck on the side of the freeway for an hour and a half. By this time our entire group was beyond frustrated. Our driver seemd irritated by our questions, and was not very apologetic. Finally they get another car to us, and the new driver snapped at us when asked if we could just get going rather than get a tutorial on how the radio works. Needless to say, their customer relations need major improvements. After all this, we felt we were entitled to some sort of a refund, but the "best" they could do was only about 1/4 of our total bill. Hobo Limo really lives up to its name! Their prices are lower than a lot of others out there, and now I know why. I will never use their service again. read more
