Clean high quality non fatting food it bit like Japanese but not as expensive. This restaurant in Springvale is as traditional as it gets and certainly worth the visit. High quality meats ordered when you have the BBQ at your table are excellent value and the staff attentive in a non intrusive way if you don't know what to do. We spent $40.5 in total (two bibimbap, which is quite pricy given the quality). The lady just randomly add another $1.5 to my bill saying it was credit card surcharge. I asked (politely) what is your credit card surcharge percentage because there is no sign of credit card surcharge anywhere and the lady answer 1.8% but $1.5 in this case is 3.75%, which is excessive and exceeded the ACCC guideline of reasonable surcharge. I explained to her and showed her the calculation on my phone and she started to get angry at me. She kept saying, "girl I have seen you. You came here before. (And also so random things but we couldn't understand it)" as if I have offended her before?? But I have never been to this restaurant or met this lady?? I don't get what was her problem? She sounded like she was threatening me to pay but I don't understand it??? Also even if you have seen me, what is the problem???? She blocked the $1.5 with the machine when I tried to take a photo but you can see the total is $42.(18.5 beef bibimbap + 22 pork bibimbap +$1.5). It was also hand written without being put into the cashier so I suspect tax evasion. There is no sign of credit card surcharge displayed and the surcharge amount added to my bill exceeded the ACCC policy. It had upset me so much tonight. It was a scam. Avoid it!
