When we did our kitchen remodel, our contractor installed the right outlet but didn't with the right voltage required. After their fail attempt to fix it I started to search for an electrician. They ended up running a conduit to the proper electrical panel for the oven outlet, patched the wall where the conduit pipe penetrated through the wall, relocated a electrical outlet I requested, and fixed wiring in a light switch that Michael noticed. Chris has done a lot of work for us over at least the last 5 years at a prior firm. He replaced customer supplied bathroom fans with humidity detection including new 3 way wall switches and GFIC, a customer supplied new attic fan with a new outlet in the attic and new switch in the hallway, and replaced outside wall lights. Most recently, our 39-year-old breaker sub panel was making noise so we thought we should replace it. Chris gave us a reasonable quote with a separate charge for the City permit. They used a good brand for the breaker subpanel with room for more breakers. The installation was nicely done. He was present for the city inspection which was passed with no problems. They installed GFCI outlets throughout the entire kitchen, and grounded multiple outlets throughout the house. Chris, the owner of HOERTZ Electric and Michael, also installed a "dedicated circuit" so that we could use a portable AC unit in the home. They were very thorough, inquiring about our usage of power, making sure we would have enough added power to have everything functioning properly.
