Relax at a table in the garden under the shade of the vine-covered pergola and flowering fruit trees or sit in the warmly decorated cafe's main room or acloves with a magazine, book or board game. This cafe is along the Genuss zu Fuss (a 7 km nature/culinary hiking trail) and Eifel Krimi (local crime trail) and near to an 11th Century castle in the quaint (sleepy) German town of Kerpen. The owner speaks beautiful English (studied in the States) and the menus are handmade with quotes, photos, and menu items (Flammenkuchen, Quiche Lorraine, etc.) scrapbooked together.
