We chose the little "Euphrasie" cottage in the back by the canal and enjoyed a roaring fireplace and cute little private patio right on the water. Totally immersive Bruges experience and just a few minutes walk to what you want to see. That cottage has sturdy but fairly steep steps inside, so maybe choose a standard room if that is an issue for you. This place has my highest recommendation.

Best B&B I've ever stayed in!…read more Tina the host is the best! She made us feel so welcome and gave us maps and a list of many restaurant that locals like to go to, no tourist traps. You can also rent their bikes for €10/day. Breakfast was AMAZING. They have coffee, all kind of pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs, cheese, bread, and will cook you fresh waffles or pancakes upon request. They always have a fire going in the fireplace which just adds to the whole experience. Rooms were excellent as well. Be prepared to climb lots of winding stairs, but I suppose that goes for most places in Europe. Highly recommend!!

You will love every minute in the area, and in your room and talking to your hosts, Kees and Kathleen. Have the best time.

The house is hundreds of years old with huge whitewashed beams on the high ceilings. Behind the house is a small private back yard with a Koi pond. A canal is just beyond the back yard, and across the canal is a picturesque park. While the facility was perfect, Kees really made our stay special with advice on where to go & what to do, as well as an amazing breakfast each morning. We hope we'll be able to stay here again.

I was greeted by the husband & wife, and met the whole family as well. Oogle is the husband/owner, and is the sweetest man. His daughters help him run this B&B. It was beautiful, clean, and decorated very very well. I was so comfortable and even ended up changing my flight home so I could stay longer. Breakfast was fantastic and all the staff was so helpful. I was there alone, but this would be the perfect place for a romantic weekend! :)
