Basically, they got everything covered before game day as well as offering straight forward quotes for each A/V option. It is worth noting that they were not the first A/V company I contacted for services but after ringing several different companies at the time for quotes for Super Bowl, they were the most reasonably priced by far and did not jack up prices for big events, a true reflection of a company I think and that's why I went back directly to them the next time I needed A/V services without seeking quotes from other companies. Bottom line, you will not be disappointed if you use their services, besides the fact Jose and Anabelle are lovely people, they just do a great job at far more reasonable rate then their competitors. I am a medium size bar/restaurant business manager and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was devastated of course. What's worst is the way the situation was handled by Douglas. Although he was not rude, he did nearly nothing to help us. I feel in that type of situation, you would go out of your way to help find another studio. Instead, he sent the photographer a list of 10 studios. (Mind you, I can pull up a list on Yelp just as easily.) My poor husband and brother dealt with my panic but luckily another studio (not on Douglas' list) came through. To top it all off, I was told via text that our deposit would be returned by end of business day on 9/9. It is 10/1 and we are just now receiving our deposit back. While the studio looks nice and the booking process was simple, I guess be cautious if Houston is going to be having any type of rain or inclement weather. Have a backup plan with this studio especially if you have a special event/time you are trying to capture. The customer service was subpar.

The rates are by far the cheapest I have seen on the market. Many companies will charge about $900 for 2 hours. That's insane! For reference, my wedding was in October 2007. I first contacted them in March 2007. I filled out their forms, and agreed to pay them $500 for their services. They do not require a deposit. I contacted them again in August to make sure they still had us in their schedule. They did. I contacted them again at the beginning of October so that I could meet with my DJ and discuss song choices with the DJ. One of the DJs called me back and told me he'd be DJing my wedding. He was kind of rude and kept saying, "I can't believe you've waited this long to get a DJ, I can't believe you've waited this long to contact us!" After SEVERAL of these comments, I was like, UMMM I first reserved yall in March. He seemed surprised. Later in the conversation, he said he could meet with me to talk in Round Rock. I live in Houston. My wedding was going to be in Houston. He was shocked, he thought my wedding would be in Austin. Apparently, because my cell phone number had a 512 area code (I went to school there), DJs Unlimited assumed my wedding would be in Austin and didn't take the time to read a few lines down on their form and see that my wedding would be in Houston. So they assigned me the Austin DJ. Fine. I guess that's an easily-made mistake. A few days later I met with this DJ in person. He kept making comments like, "Wow I've never met a bride like you before, I can't believe you haven't chosen these songs yet!!!!!" He wasn't saying this in a joking fashion, he was actually taken aback by my "lack of preparation". And the songs he couldn't believe I hadn't chosen were the flipping cake cutting song and anniversary dance song. I apparently wasn't bridezilla enough for him because I wasn't f-ing freaking out about the cake cutting song! Anyway, I was not very happy with being insulted by a DJ. During this meeting, I also paid an extra $250 for a screen and projector system to be set up and run during the beginning of the reception. When I met with the reception people, they told me I could get a screen and projector for them for $150. I contacted DJs Unlimited and told them I was canceling my order for the screen and projector. I get another call from the DJ concerning my songs, I think we were confirming another song choice. He again seemed to be under the impression that my wedding was in Austin. I told him it was in Houston. Fast forward to a few days before the wedding. I receive a call from another DJ, different from the one I previously dealt with, and he tells me he will be the DJ for my wedding. Okaaay. Fine. This guy tells me that he knows where my reception location is and he will see me on Saturday. The DJ was fine at the wedding, although of the 5-6 songs I requested be played that I had discussed with the first DJ, only one was played. These songs were special to my husband and I, and they were left out. The real irritation I had with DJs Unlimited was that it took them a good 5 months and many, many phone calls for them to refund my $250. I was so irritated. I first canceled the order in mid-October and did not receive a refund from them until mid-March. To be honest, I would not recommend DJs Unlimited to anyone. They were probably the most difficult wedding vendor I dealt with. I did not appreciate being insulted by the first DJ, and I really didn't appreciate them constantly telling my husband our check was in the mail when it wasn't. They get two stars because the DJ at the wedding was an overall good DJ. Dealing with the company, however, was not a good experience.

This wedding vendor was recommended to me by my reception site. I really trusted my reception site and working with Rock n Robin was super easy. For our first meeting, he met me in the Galleria area and answered all of my questions pretty honestly e.g. I asked him about back-up equipment and all sorts of things I was told to ask by my internet wedding planner. I hired him in July for my April wedding and we kept in touch via email after that, as in, I would email him and he would respond within 48 hours. He recently revamped his site and it includes an online "jukebox" in which you can create and save your playlist, note songs you do not want played, and mark songs for special moments e.g. introduction of the wedding part, cake-cutting, etc. My fiance and I had a lot of fun planning out these little details! To get Robin himself, it'll cost ya almost double one of his employees. Thus, we went with one of his employees. He gave us Bryan who was great. The week before the big day, my FMiL called all vendors and gave them the number of their contact info for that day. Friday before the wedding, Bryan called his contact - not the bride or groom! - to ask a few questions about our playlist, while complimenting our music tastes. During the actual event, he took charge of keeping us on schedule and introducing the wedding party and keeping guests dancing. He even through in some classic Viet tunes for my family that I didn't even request! And he respected our do-not-play list. Rock n Robin was awesome, professional, and reasonably-priced. They were low-key and great to work with - I highly recommend them!

I've only worked with Robin (there are multiple Djs in his company), but as I said--it's always a pleasure to bump into him. Robin is always on point, happy about what he's doing and makes sure his clients are well taken care of. Seems like nothing out of the ordinary--but unfortunately there are a lot of burnouts working weddings. Not here, however. My clients have always raved about him as well, which is why I'm always happy to give him the thumbs up when asked.
