The ribs are excellent in every way. They are big and meaty. Full of flavor and moist and delicious. I highly recommend them.

I was in town for work and noticed this place on my way out. The reviews looked decent, so I decided to stop in. I ordered the Hog-N-Slaw sandwich and a pint of the HNB Stew (basically their version of Brunswick stew). Whenever I'm in Georgia, I always look forward to a good, hearty Brunswick stew. The sandwich came with pulled pork, slaw, Texas toast, and BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, the pork was dry and looked like it had been sitting awhile, and I ended up throwing most of it away. The stew was okay -- not great, not terrible -- just somewhere in the middle. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. But if you're passing through and hoping for that standout, must-try BBQ spot, this isn't it. read more

We asked for the chicken quesadillas and the cheese was not melted. We go out a lot and usually can find something positive to say about food but this one is a little hard. Went to the drive-thru in Albany. I asked for two 5 piece grilled chicken fingers and they refused, said it had to be a basket, so they charged me extra. I've been going to this restaurant for almost 12 years between the Tifton and Albany locations. The lady at the drive-thru argued and was extremely rude. Dropped in while on the way back to Atlanta. I'm used to really good bbq so these places like this have a tendency to disappoint me. I ordered the Hog and Slaw combo and couldn't have been more pleased. The pork bbq had such a good flavor and there was plenty of it there. The slaw was a great topper to the sandwich, which came out in Texas toast. I was pleasantly surprised. The baked potato was fully cooked... a nice potato. Overall was the best part of the visit was the flavor of the pork bbq. Very much enjoyed and happy to say I'd definitely do it again when in the area. read more

I have been going here for over 2 years i order the exact same thing every time every morning and still can't get it right. They forgot half my order and when they hand me the drink it has drink all down the side and no napkins to wipe it off, no fork to eat biscuit with. you can tell the management has changed and a lot of turn over. read more

We stop here often when we come through town. Today will be the last time. I ordered the quesadilla which I love and was so disappointed because it looked like it had been microwaved. There was absolutely no color on the flour shell. The other thing ordered was fried chicken tenders which were burnt and extremely dry. So, for $30 dollars we ate nothing. What in the world happened to this place??? I love me some Hog N Bones every time we come for a visit. Unfortunately today's lunch was a huge disappointment. We met our son in law and granddaughter there. We placed our orders- my husband and I split the Big Tex with coleslaw and baked beans. She asked us what sauce we wanted and we chose the hot. We also ordered 2 drinks. Our granddaughter ordered a plain fried chicken sandwich with no sides. Our son in law just ordered a tea because he wasn't hungry. Mine and my husband's order came out pretty quickly but it had fries instead of coleslaw. The server told us to keep the fries and she brought us back the coleslaw. Then we noticed that there was no sauce so we went and got some. The tea was labeled incorrectly- sweet was in unsweetened container and vice versa. We had our meal for at least 10 minutes and our granddaughter's wasn't out yet so we went to check. The chicken sandwich was just coming out but it had everything on it so our son in law said it was supposed to be plain. The server told the cook and he started muttering and smarting off and rolling his eyes easily within earshot of our son in law. It was very rude for an employee to do that where a customer could see and hear him. We finally get her plain sandwich and she was eating it slowly and then said "I think this is spicy". I tasted it and it definitely had hot sauce on it. Intentional?? We weren't sure but our granddaughter was able to eat it anyway. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was definitely not a good experience for us and honestly not a normal experience for this restaurant. I certainly hope they get it together!! read more

Our first/last visit to a Hog & Bones. Food was mediocre at best. My husband took his rib plate back because the ribs looked old and like they had been rewarmed- more than once, they did not have much meat on the bones. The fries looked old and dry and looked like the bottom of the barrel- small broken up pieces like the leftovers from lunch and they were barely warm, we went at around 1pm after the lunch rush. The slaw was fine. They gladly replaced his ribs with some that looked much better- they had twice the meat on them and while they did not look as fresh as we would have liked they were dramatically better than the first batch- in our opinion the meat was seasoned well but dry and overcooked. I got a kids bbq pork sandwich. Again, the meat was dry and all of it was the hard outside portion with not a single piece that was tender and pleasing to the eye or pallet. The tea was very good, the restaurant was clean, the staff was nice. Sorry, we wanted to love it and hope it was just an off day with a lot of excess being kept warm and not the typical offering. 5 stars to staff and cleanliness of restaurant, bathrooms and the tea. read more

Stopped and picked up dinner to go yesterday at 4:40, Ordered a full rack of ribs and a salad with pulled pork and a side of beans. The ribs and pulled pork on the salad was beyond over cooked and very dry. The baked beans were right out of a can with a couple of dry pork pieces thrown in and probably microwaved. Totally disappointed. I will never waste my money on dinner there again. It's a shame I have to give it a one-star rating because it was not even worthy of that. read more

Where do I start! This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a very long time! I went twice within the course of two days. I had the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla with Fries and was blown away! The quesadilla tastes heavenly! Best I've ever had. You can feel the southern hospitality here with the friendly employees, as well. They have such a diverse menu, which is always good. They have dine in and a prompt drive thru. I look forward to coming to Hog N Bones many times in the future, and I highly recommend it if you're ever passing through town! read more

I have waited a bit before reviewing this location to see if the newness would wear off, it did not and I am so happy! The food here is amazing, I eat here more than I would like to admit sometimes more than once a day. Customer service is great, manager Justin is great you can tell he likes his job. For breakfast my go to is the breakfast burrito, eat this multiple times a week. If it's just me the pulled pork sandwich is my go to. They also have a great family plan that is perfect for my family of 4. We get the Boston butt is comes with a full butt that is sooo good, 2 sides, rolls and a gallon of their amazing sweet tea for like $30. read more

My husband and I both got the 3 piece rib plate. The ribs were huge I could only finish two myself and they were super moist and delicious. The star of the show were the baked beans! I went through the drive through yesterday and ordered a rack of ribs. I thought that they would be good but was sorely disappointed. First off, they didn't remove the skin from the back side of the ribs. The ribs were skinny and and didn't have a lot of meat to them. And finally they were way overcooked. When I say overcooked, I mean the bones themselves were soft and if you accidentally bit into one it would crumble. I have cooked a lot of ribs in my day but I am here on vacation and thought it would be a nice treat to have some good southern cooked ribs, boy was I wrong. The final straw was that I actually paid $37 for a single rack of ribs. I'm very disappointed and will never come back to this place. Definitely not worth the price!!! read more

Every time we go to Florida we have to stop at one of these, it's just that good! The pulled pork sandwich and sweet peach tea were good but I wasn't too impressed with my sides, cole slaw and mac & cheese. Dry and salty food, looked like it was left over. The pulled pork was terrible, the waitress was MIA until plate pickup. She then asked if everything was "alright".
