Eldon square boots can get very congested but that's because you can now get pretty much anything all in one location. Always good offers to be had and those Boots loyalty points soon rack up if you regularly buy your essentials here. The staff can be slightly hit and miss if like me you need help picking a hair dye due to the sudden spurt of grey hairs! Then again you can't expect staff to be knowledgeable about all products as there are just too many. It's worth noting that you can get your prescriptions sent directly from your GP to the pharmacy and there is even a doctors surgery downstairs for those living in the city centre.

Apart from being able to have your prescription filled here,they also have an assortment of the usual goods you find in Chemists.You know the kind of stuff cosmetics,babystuff cleaning products and also over the counter medicines. There's always a chair if you need a sit down while waiting but I have to admit I've never had to wait long. Staff are very helpful and friendly which is a bonus.

As well as prescription medicines they also sell toiletries, gift items, cosmetics and other alternative medicines. As a national chain of chemist they often have good countrywide deals on their items. I find them to be slightly more expensive than their rival Boots, but they do sell some different items so they are worth popping into just to see what they have on offer. Don't let that annoying TV ad (with a certain z-list celebrity whose name I won't mention) put you off!

Unlike some Boots stores local to me which are cramped and overcrowded, this Boots has a great spacious layout and it's easy to find what you're looking for. Boots always used to be an expensive store, but nowadays I find that they often have great competitive deals on the product that I use. On top of this, their loyalty card means that you get approximately 4p (4 points) back for every pound you spend, as well as being mailed coupons where you can get bonus points. Recently there have been a few good points deals such as getting 500 (£5) worth of points when you spend over £50 in one transactions. Their 3 for 2 deals make good great xmas presents too!

I often go here to pick up prescriptions after going to the doctor's at the new Flagg court medical centre. The only thing that is offputting about this chemist is its location - there is hardly any free parking nearby. All the carparks are expensive behind the chemist, and there are some shortstay free parking bays but there are lots of parking attendants around ready to pounce if you overstay by a second or five!!! Anyway the shop itself is quite small but sells cosmetics and other health and beauty stuff as well as taking prescriptions. Nice old fashioned feel to the place unlike some of the large chain store-type chemists.
