Karen Casey, Lannie Shelamadine (a 1960's UNK football star). Bill Nelson, Gail Bond, Barb Knapp and Carol Cullan to name a few. Karen and Lannie later married and now live in Alliance, NE. Red Cross swimming lessons were taught in the morning hours and the pool opened at Noon or so and stayed out until 9 or 10 PM. The pool was built during the 1930's as part of the WPS federal government program and along with the Rock Gardens in the park. Tay Tollefsen KHS 67' UNL 71'
