Holiday Hair. Scranton-Carbondale Highway. Nov, 2024. I was desperate for a haircut, and was pleasantly surprised that Holiday Hair was able to take me as a walk-in a few days before Thanksgiving. (Tuesday, 10:30 am). I was traveling, and am not a regular at this salon. I asked for a shampoo, cut, and blow dry style, and the stylist (Tracey) gave me a terrific bob cut (at my request), taking off at least two inches of damaged and out-of-control hair. I am very pleased with my new style. Tracey was a true professional -- great at her craft, responsive to what I requested, friendly, and efficient. I was finished in no time. The salon was clean, had ample free parking, and the price was great. (If I remember correctly, it was $26.75, plus tip). The only negative with my experience was that they were a bit understaffed, so my stylist had to interrupt my styling a few times in order to answer the phone to take new appointments for the salon. read more

The customer service was great. I made an appointment with Tiffany for my son. He was really nervous about his haircut. She made him feel welcome, and was attentive to what he wanted. She did a beautiful job on his cut and he absolutely loved it. I would and have recommend her and this salon to my friends and family! read more

Tiffany does an amazing job with my hair and is the only person i will go to. the shop is always clean and the employees are very courteous.

I went to Holiday Hair on Friday for a much needed spruce up. Shannon did my hair and it turned out magnificent. When my husband saw me later that evening he told me that, it looked better than ever :) I've been getting my hair done at salons for over 20 years. I normally go to the Dickson City location as it is closer to where I live. The DC location normally has a wait unless you go right when they open. I needed a haircut and it was already 9am on Friday. DC had a 45 minute wait. I figured I'd call the Eynon store and see if they had a line. They did not! My guess is the store is normally pretty dead. Eynon is like a deserted town nowadays. My haircut is simple (Buzzers and a trim). The girl did a fine job. read more

Quick, friendly and skilled hair stylists that will cut your hair any which way you like. I've been going to this location since I moved to the area two years ago and never has a problem with their service. Although during the week days you may have to wait a while because there are usually only two people on a shift. read more

I went early in the morning so I would get a stylist who was fresh and alert and asked for an eyebrow wax. I wanted the stylist to follow the shape of my natural brows, but she shaped them into something different. She never showed them to me afterward. When I got home, one brow was higher than the other, and I had to do some emergency plucking to get them to look similar. After consulting about two pictures I brought, she decided on the one that was really impossible to do because my hair wasn't long enough. She decided it was possible, and she liked that one better. But then my hair in front turned out symmetrical and square rather than asymmetrical and angular like the picture. She didn't even ask me how I normally part my hair into well into the process of cutting. Throughout the process, she was listening to the conversations of the other stylists, rather than developing communication with me. When done, she asked me about the cut, and I told her it wasn't angular like the picture, and then she blamed me for cutting my bangs prior to coming it so my hair was too short to begin with. The back came out well, but the front doesn't look like me. She knew I wasn't happy, but I feel like she didn't really care. read more

Although they have some qualified stylists, their business practices are pathetic! Even if you have an appointment, the stylist takes another person in between your wash and rinse. You will sit 3 times what it should take to do your hair. I went for a cut and highlight. The same stylist did 4 people in between my steps. It was insane. What they don't get, no one was happy. They have some good stylist but the other girlis need to know how to use buzzers it the third time I got my hair cut and they butchered it

I have been going to Eynon for over two years, but recently there are issues. They advertise walk in service welcome and when you walk in at least for me the last four times I was told there was over an hour wait. So this week I called to get an appointment and was told that they were really booked up and the walk in traffic was huge... so I said what about tomorrow and I was told the same thing? So if I walk in its over an hour wait and I can't make an appointment...hmmmm? Don't get me wrong I understand they are times we all have to wait but the whole thing where I can't make an appointment ....can you say unhappy and going elsewhere well I can! read more

Ask for a trim and no length off on top. I got shaved on the sides and half taken on top. When I first asked what is going on after the first few swipes of the clippers, I was told that the haircut is not complete and I would be happy with the results. Sideburns were waaay off, one high one low. Not the worst haircut, but hairdresser didnt listen. read more
