Everything is nice and as expected from holiday inn. But the prices at the bar are ridiculous, it's more expensive than San Diego.

My favorite thing here was the bathroom products. They smelled amazing. I couldn't get enough of that scent. It was relaxing and good. I liked that my room had a tub also. The buffet breakfast was good. I enjoyed it. They make eggs any style if asked. They had a machine that gave you different coffee choices. The hotel is located near as in walking distance from a supermarket, burger spot, coffee house, and a chocolatier. There are things to do. The staff was great. I found the service pretty good. I di not have any issues with. I would have loved to see friendly smiles from the staff.

As part of a fellowship, I stayed in the hotel for three nights and wished my stay was even longer. The breakfast is definitely the highlight of your stay. It is a full buffet with every Turkish dish you could imagine. Lots of cheeses, meats, fruits, dips, and more. The lunch is also lovely- offering a multiple course meal, starting with a soup or salad and ending with a sweet. Dinner is also a buffet, but with less choices than breakfast. Overall the food is delightful. The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable. I stayed in a room with presumably a queen size bed and it was very comfortable. The staff even allow you to pick which type of pillow you would like. There's a TV with cable and a snack bar (of course, with charge). The toilet and shower are separate. All very clean! I heard that some rooms even have their own tubs on top of a shower. The conference area is very nice and has nearby toilets. Each organization is provided a snack and drink bar. It's in the basement so you won't be bothered by other guests. The staff was very kind and helpful, always asking to assist with my bags. I was even brought an iron and iron board to my room when I asked if the hotel had one. The only downfall is that the wifi is very poor. I stayed on the fifth floor and had almost no signal. Luckily I have my own phone plan so I was able to use my own data. Overall, this is a stunning high end hotel in the capital. If you are willing to splurge, then I highly recommend staying here. Take advantage of the breakfast and enjoy your stay.

The morning breakfast buffet has many Turkish and western items with all the Turkish tea you can drink. The bar has a local tap beer with a few more local and European beers and liquors, a good place to start or end an evening. My single bed room is nicely laid out and clean, not large but not too small. The AC gets nice and cold and the shower is spectacular. There is plenty of lights and outlets in convenient places. The WiFi is available from the room, restaurant and bar but fluctuates strength often. I would definitely stay here again... especially since work pays for it.

I love my wife, but next time I am staying at a Hilton hotel. First, the driver for the hotel is the only good thing at this hotel, but the car they picked me up in was a 1990 Mercedes with no air conditioning. Most hotels have vans to pick you up. Then upon arriving, I asked them for an iron, because this hotel does not have irons in their rooms. This is a first for me. Then they had to go to the basement to locate an ironing board. The name fits this hotel perfectly. BUDGET. I have stayed in many hotels in Turkey and this has been the worst one. I would not come back or recommend this hotel. If your a young adult and are on a budget, then awesome. Anyone else. Just stay away and pay more money for a real hotel and not a college dorm. Don't worry about free internet, because it does not work.

Problems, problems, problems. I never been to a hotel where there was so much issues. The moment I…read morewalked into the room, problem number 1 already appeared before me. The room was not even cleaned yet! The sheets were in disarray. Pillows were on the floor, the whole room was a mess and it was obvious that the cleaning staff did not even get to this room yet before they handed me the key. So I had to go all the way to the reception to get a different room. When I got to the new room, I saw that this time it was ready for me. But I took a look at the top sheets and they were just distasteful. They looked like they were older than me. I went to the toilet next and saw that there were still shit stains on the under side the bowl. That was just disgusting. Cleaniness is definitely not scrutinized here. I took a shower next and when I came out, there was water all over the floor. The shower was not waterproof, which is just ridiculous. During my sleep, I felt that there was a hole on my bed and it felt uncomfortable as I kept slipping into a gaping crack in the middle of the bed. And I realized that this queen bed was actually just 2 twin beds pushed together. At this point, I wasn't even surprised anymore. The next night, when I came back after a long day, my key card was not working and I had to go all the way down to reception to get my key card fixed. How inconvenient. And it turns out that I had to "activate" my keycard at reception every single day as it does not work after each night. This is the first time I ever seen this. They really could not just give me a key that works the whole week without it resetting every single day. On my third night there, when I had to reactivate the key again at the reception, they told me that my room had a connecting room and that a family wanted to book the room I was in and the connecting room. So they decided to move me to a different room. I had to pack all my stuff at 10pm after a long day and move. Super inconvenient. I never had that happen to me before. When I got into the new room, more problems arose. I noticed a real bad sewer smell in the shower and there were holes in some of the towels there. I was so tired at that point I didn't even bother to ask for another room change. I just avoided the shower area as much as I could. All in all, this was quite possibly the worst and most annoying hotel experience I ever had. I had a better time at the small hostel I stayed in at Istanbul and for half the price too. Stay away if I were you.
