Recently stayed here June 7th - 9th. Check in was extremely welcoming and Ethan was exceptionally helpful. He mentioned all the amenities they offered, including free breakfast. They also have a fitness area and swimming pool. I didn't try the breakfast, but my family said it was clean, fresh and replenished. My family mentioned they monitored the breakfast area and it was running smoothly. The bed was perfect, room clean, and zero noise. Arrived at hotel approximately 4:30 in the evening. About 20 minutes after arriving the city cut the water off with no time frame on turning back on. We.are an older couple and.bathrooms are necessary part of our life. We stayed approximately 2 hours and still no time frame of when the water would be back on. We decided to leave and go.further down the road. We asked for a refund which they were only willing to give a.partial refund approximately 1/2. This wasn't our problem about.the.water.being turned off. This should have been a.complete refund. read more

Fairly new hotel (3 yrs per staff). Coming east down 10, there are literally few to no options. Don't stay in Orzona or Sonora. If you are coming west on 10, do not go past Junction. I cannot stress this enough. Stay in Junction for the night as there is hours of nothingness. Our room was clean, and equipped with a mini fridge. Our bed was not comfy to me. Breakfast is provided. Staff was kind, but dressed casually, so it was a little confusing as to wether they were guest or staff. Casual t-shirts and jeans were worn. This included management. read more

First time staying at a Holiday Inn Express and was impressed, especially since we stayed 1 night and it was in a small town. This is a newer hotel, so everything was nice! I had no complaints and I'm a big complainer and picky when it comes to hotels! The price was very affordable compared to other Holiday Inns. I did enjoy the breakfast, the eggs seemed real unlike others hotels, plus I enjoyed the amounts of sausage and turkey sausage I had! I would totally stay at one of these again! read more

We have been stuck in Junction due to the ice storm for 7 days. This hotel has been a life saver. I would've given them 5 stars but the staff doesn't always wear masks. It's covid and there are signs on the door that say masks are required . Other than that I've watched the people who work here work none stop in crazy conditions. Our water was off for two days and they would fill up our trash bins with water so we could flush toilets. They salted the walkways everyday and shoveled snow. All things that are unprecedented in west Texas. The breakfast was still offered every morning and it was much better than I expected. I feel so fortunate we were able to live through the storm here and have power the entire time. Also the bed was super comfy!!! read more

The hotel was new, fresh, and clean. The television worked, although we got no local stations-like San Antonio which would be the closest. The breakfast was very poor. Only apples for fresh fruits, no muffins, and lousy frozen type bagels. The exercise room was nice. read more

Had a trip from big bend nat'l park to austin scheduled but the snowstorm this past Thursday had other plans, so we ended up pulling into Holiday Inn at the last minute. The phone was ringing, the check in line was long, but the one receptionist working was calm under pressure and remained professional as she multitasked to check everyone in and answer the phones. New Hotel with very clean rooms and extremely helpful staff. The breakfast was fresh with plenty of choices for the entire family. One of the Managers, Madison, and housekeeping were extremely helpful in locating a diamond pendant my wife left in our room. Initially it wasn't found but three days later housekeeping was able to locate it in a space behind the luggage area of the room. Madison remembered me calling about the necklace and it was promptly returned. Their actions speak volumes about the staff and how they genuinely care for guests. If you're looking to stay in Junction this is the place. read more

Second stay here. It was so pleasant the first time, we expected the same service and clean hotel room. Not the way this stay turned out. The air conditioner/heater must have been broken, because it never stopped running, even when we turned it off at the thermostat. The bathroom corners hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time. There were long black hairs in the sheets and on the pillows. I decided to take the sheet off and sleep on the mattress protector. Many long black hairs here, three times as many as in the sheets. There were no fewer than FOUR different kinds of hair in the shower. We had to put a towel in there to avoid touching them. The door security lock was broken and the people next door were shouting at each other until 1 a.m.. The breakfast was cold, and the woman preparing it looked angry if you asked for something. Wow! Two nights ago we had a great experience staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Willcox, AZ. We were planning to make our next stop in Senora, TX, but the hotel reviews were not promising. So we drove another 50 miles farther just to try another Holiday Inn Express in Junction, TX. We were not disappointed. Another clean, attractive, friendly hotel with really comfy mattresses. They handled the pandemic problem professionally. We felt quite safe with their procedures. We are Marriott fans, but these 2 hotels are just as nice as any in the Marriott chain, but with a better price. read more

This new Holiday Inn is the most modern, pleasant and clean hotel I have ever stayed in. Amenities are everywhere. Brand new Simmons Beautyrest mattresses, clean bright comfy linens, A/C works beautifully, our room had a built in combination safe to store valuables, the bathroom had a great built in large shower with two sliding door, very hot water for showers, that hot water was immediately available, no waiting. Staff were courteous and helpful, hallways well maintained. The feeling of safety was strong, with card readers for keys and locks to the rooms AND to the building from the exterior. No vagrants wandering the hallways. The breakfast was good and hot, eggs made several ways, sausages, hot biscuits, gravy, hot coffee, yogurt, fruit, cereal, cinabons, toast, oatmeal etc. We stayed at a 7 year old Holiday Inn in another town later that was not nearly as nice as this one in Junction, Texas.
