Great location in city center off of O'Connell Street. Walking distance to everything. Two Irish pubs (out of over 700 to choose from in Dublin) right next door, a cafe to the left, open lobby concept inside, and includes complimentary breakfast for all guests however the breakfast isn't that great... After checking in, went to our large room on the sixth floor. Window was open and the AC was off - took a couple of hours to cool down our room. We did have a great city view overlooking O'Connell Street and it was quiet once it started to get dark around 9 or 10 pm. At night and early in the morning, everything is card access. To access the elevators, you need your room card at all times. Parking was a hassle so be careful if you rent a vehicle. Before you drive up to the hotel, look for QPark building on the left hand side. The hotel does give a discount, we returned our rental one day early but less than a full day in the parking garage - still costed 21 euros. A few things the hotel lacks: lotion, washcloths, slippers, ice machine

This hotel is very modern. Breakfast and wi-fi is included. We didn't eat breakfast due to an early flight. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room has many cool amenities. The bed was very comfortable with your choice of soft or firm pillows and pull out bed lights. The chair in the room can recline or sit upright to fit your needs. There our USB and standard power outlets available. The hairdryer and ironing board are behind the mirror to the right of the entry door. They don't have their own parking but there is a parking garage available for a discount just a short walk behind the hotel. You will need to get the parking ticket validated when you check out at the front desk. The location on Upper O'Connell Street is perfect for exploring Dublin. You can walk to everything in the city.

A great find in Dublin! Room rates were reasonable, and comes with a huge Irish breakfast. Hotel is very new and nicely designed. Rooms are little small, to be expected in Europe. Also the people who complained about the pub making noise have obviously never been to Ireland. You will get noisy pubs on weekends (or big sporting events) anywhere in the city. The location is perfect for tourists. Lots of places to walk to.

We arrived early for check in, super early coming off of a 6 hour flight. The front desk attendant was very nice and looked to see if there was a room available and there was. We were able to get checked in early and the room is great. It's small but big enough for what we needed. There was nice security for the building and the late night food options was nice as well. Oh and I love a latte which is exactly what I had at 10pm tonight and it was delicious. I'd stay here again. My only set back on the hotel is that what I was offered for free during breakfast, coffee and tea, is $3.50 after breakfast is over. I don't think the hotel would lose that much money if it were free all the time. Just a suggestion.

For the price, my hotel room smelled awful and it was super noisy from the HVAC outside. I would take the noise of Temple Bar over that. I wasn't really impressed with the decor. Everything was plain and bland. It lacked charm. It was ok but I will look for another option on my next Dublin trip.

We arrived from an overnight flight at roughly 9:30 a.m. and they were still prepping rooms but they stored our luggage and recommended a location to grab something to eat which was very good. Upon returning about 45 minutes later our room was ready and we found the room to be meticulous with a very comfy king bed, mini fridge, tv, and ample size bathroom. I saw a few other reviews that stated the bathroom doors would not stay open but I learned that is by design and we just asked for an extra towel that we used to prop the door open when needed. It serves to point out that the entire hotel is under a complete remodel so many of the rooms and features of the hotel are shinny new. They do offer breakfast in the morning and for the evening they do have a restaurant and bar. Just walk out the front door if you want a livelier crowd and more restaurant options The location of the hotel is prime as it offers proximity the River Liffey, plenty of shops, pubs, and attractions. We walked to the Jameson (25 min walk) and Guinness (30 min walk) factories as it also gave us the ability to take in things along the walk. You are close to Trinity College and both St Patrick's and Christ Church Cathedrals. lastly, I cannot say enough about the staff, Anne at the front desk was a warm and inviting pleasure and very professional, Marvin the concierge and bellman was super helpful and pleasantly informative, the house staff was attentive and always looking to make sure we were comfortable. The Brooks comes with my highest recommendation.

No air conditioning, which I'm sure wouldn't normally be an issue. We stayed in June and it felt like that had the heater going and the temp was low 70 to high 60s. The room felt like it was 75-80 degrees and there is only a tiny wonder and a desk fan to cool the room. Overall, the room was okay and you can tell it was refurbished... but again for the price, it didn't seem justified. No parking, breakfast is not included and again, still about a 30 min walk to the downtown/ temple bar area.

To get the cheapest itinerary it made sense to have a layover in Dublin, even though it was truly never on our must-see list. We had no regrets! Although Dublin is cold/windy/was even hailing during our May 2016 stay here, it was worth a 1 night layover (and a great way to adjust with jetlag before the big trip began). As for the Maldron, it is imperative to take a Taxi if you are traveling with any more than 2-3 people, because it ends up being cheaper than taking the airport bus. I believe it was about 35 Euros for the cab ride each way, a smooth 35 minute ride. The hotel is a bit aged but had recently been gutted. It is clean, in a safe, quiet (Extremely quiet) neighborhood. If you enjoy walking, it is an easy 15-25 minute stroll to the main downtown area and restaurants. There is also a tram within 5 minutes of the hotel. We found that late at night it was difficult to get a bite to eat near the hotel and thus had to walk into the main strip/downtown area. The hotel staff are kind and quick to respond to any requests and issues. One note is that when going to the airport, if you want to save 2 Euros hail a cab yourself, because any time you have to call ahead of time for a cab the 2 Euros fee is charged!

It is in a convenient location nearby many tourist attractions, such as Temple Bar, Dublin's castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, etc. it was also a short walking distance to our car rental pick up at St Stephen's Green shopping centre. We booked this hotel for the first day of our trip. We arrived in the morning so our room wasn't ready for check in yet, but we were able to drop off our luggage in the lobby. This made it easy for us as we could continue exploring according to our plan (we took a 30 minute train ride over to Howth right after dropping our bags). Coming back to the hotel around 5pm, our room was ready and we were able to nap a bit before dinner. The superior room we booked was located in a renovated section of the hotel and had access to a shared outdoor patio right across from our hotel room. We didn't have time to use the patio but it was spacious and it seemed no one was using it whenever we passed by. Our hotel room was very clean, large (great for us as we had plenty of luggage) and we had two complementary water bottles in the room. We had breakfast the next morning and it was buffet style. There is a section if you want fresh made omelettes. Lots of variety I think but I stuck with the classic Irish breakfast items. So delicious and fresh! Check out process - we had a bit of a hiccup as I had given my credit card for authorization for breakfast charges when I checked in. The staff was asking for my credit card again which confused me as I had already paid. Despite the confusion, the service at Radisson was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel for fellow tourists!
