The Hilton Hotel in Leeds is actually situated just outside the city in Garforth, and the hotel itself is a rather oppressing concrete building. It has free parking, which is good, and as you would expect of a Hilton, is slightly higher in price than the average for the area.
Inside the hotel it is quite modern and to a high standard, much unlike the dated exterior. The reception area, rooms and dining area are very nice and clean. Towels and bedding are clean, and the bathrooms are all to a high standard with complimentary personal hygiene items as standard.
The staff are very polite indeed, very professional, and look the part. They are very knowledgeable about the area, such as nearby restaurants, cashpoints and petrol stations. They have information on the area to hand to residents also.
The food is excellent as you would expect, with a large choice of breakfast items, from continental to traditional, and the optional evening meal has plenty of variety, with Italian, English and French foods being the standard. Certainly the steak I had there was excellent and to a high standard. Expect to pay around £20 - £25 per head depending on drinks and dessert. read more
