You can tell how dark (rich) a coffee is by looking at it. All the brewers have a clear glass gauge so you can see at a glance how full the carafe is. But you can also see how dark it is and if you compare them they ALL look weak. Kona and Dark Roast look like all the rest. They all look like watered down weak tea. I've seen and had much better at other Qwik Trips.

The only time I ever go here instead of the preferred Kwik Trip, is for their great deals on pizza (Jacks, Lottza Mottza, etc.). Yesterday, I decided to get one pizza from there and here's how the conversation went with the young man working at the counter. Him: "You know Lunds&Byerlys is open til midnight, right?" Me: "Oh, do they have the same pizza on sale or something?" Him: "Well, I don't know but I'm just telling people the other place is open til midnight because everyone keeps coming in here to buy their groceries instead of going there." Me: "Yeah, I've been there before and know they're open til midnight. I come here for the deals on pizza." He then angrily hands me my ONE pizza (I do not grocery shop here) and doesn't say thank you, smile or offer to bag my pizza. Mind you, he didn't have to do that much work. He scanned the pizza and I paid with credit, so he didn't even have to open the money drawer. Somehow, I ruined his day over one pizza! The employees here have been rude other times, almost blatantly trying to drive away customers. If they would like to advertise for other stores, I'll be their guest and take my service elsewhere!!

Whether it's an early morning motorcycle ride for coffee or an evening trip for cocktails, food trucks, and live music, it always feels worth the ride. The café was founded by riders and embraces an "All Wheels Welcome" philosophy, which is part of what makes it such a fun place to visit. The space itself is beautiful, the drinks are consistently great, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between being a community gathering spot and a place to relax. What really stands out, though, is the ownership. They genuinely care about building community, and it shows in everything from the events they host to the welcoming environment they've created. My only minor criticism is that, despite the name, I sometimes wish it leaned a little harder into the motorcycle and car culture side of things. It feels like it's evolved into more of a general destination café than a true motor-focused hangout. That said, it's a very small complaint, and the fact that such a wide variety of people enjoy the space is probably part of its success.
