With both the decent gas consumption that this vehicle had and my not breaking the sound barrier with my lead foot, I needed to fuel this vehicle on my last full day before I headed home. To put it into perspective, I arrived on a Saturday. I did my road trip on Sunday. I had to fuel my vehicle on Tuesday afternoon. After having attended the Jason Show, I did a search and found this Speedway. It was fairly close, so I decided to check it out. It had a few folks pumping gas when I had arrived. I had no problem finding an available gas pump. I have rewards with Speedway. I pressed the Alt ID button and entered my phone number associated with my account. I then inserted my credit card to pay for gas and then pumped away. I like that I could fuel my vehicle hands-free. It allowed me to clean the windshield. The squeegee was in pristine condition. There was lots of windshield fluid. It was nice to have a clean, streak-free windshield again! The area around this gas pump was clean. I used some paper towel to dry off my hands. I then used hand sanitizer in my car, just to be safe. This gas station has a convenience store. I didn't need to use it. It's a decent gas station. I'd return when I'm in the area again. (408)

They refused (specifically a "Hailey") saying that their manager told them they couldn't sell separate lottery tickets. The young man on duty sold me the separate tickets. The young woman became "snippy" and said she was only following her managers directions. I had to play games with them to sell me five separate lottery tickets Haley, the clerk, along with a young man were working there at about 830 PM on Friday, December 19. said their manager said they could not sell separate lottery tickets. This sounded strange. I walked out of the store, looked up in the web under Minnesota state statutes. Guess what, they broke the law. "A lottery dealer cannot refuse to sell separate lottery tickets. The treatment the young woman was embarrassing in front of other customers. I've been a customer of this store for decades. The woman became very snippy when I walked outside and came back in. She loudly said: the person behind you is next. How embarrassing The young man sold the separate tickets. I guess this shows what kind of person she is is, rude. Insolent. I was polite, never talked sarcastically and smiled. I've dealt with many rude passengers and rude employees. )I'm a retired airline pilot and over 30 years I've seen many types. Although I live a couple miles from this station, I don't think after being embarrassed by the treatment I receive in front of others, I'm not going back to this station there's other stations with car wash programs without the rude employees. I left a message with the State Attorney General's office and the MN lottery commission office. Too bad there are people like this working in customer service. State rules explicitly prohibit retailers from conditioning the sale of lottery tickets on the purchase of any other item or service. And the information page:

Buyer beware on the Minute Clinic side. Went in for a simple ear wax removal. Everything online…read moresaid this is a simple procedure and should've been about $25-40 out of pocket with insurance. Since I do have insurance and haven't been in to a minute clinic in over 2 years they gouged me for $339.00. (New client - since it was over 2 years) and (extended visit - because apparently it was both ears) mind you the whole visit was 15-20 minutes tops. And since I am healthy with insurance and haven't met anything on my deductible, they are billing it ALL to me. If you had no insurance at all the bill would've still been about $110. No wonder people hate everything about healthcare in this country. I'm grateful I can afford this, but many out there living paycheck to paycheck may want to heed this warning.

I hadn't even been spoken to by anyone working! Watched the staff help a handful of people at the counter inside the entire time, no clue what they were doing. I'm sure this experience had more to do with the dismal state of "healthcare" in this country overall, rather than any incompetence on the part of the staff, but still quite frustrating. Will be looking into switching to a nearby mom & pop pharmacy & highly recommend anyone reading does the same.
