I was looking for acupuncture for a shoulder injury. when I made the appointment they told me Medicare would cover it but after I got there they told me it didn't. So it was sketchy from the start, and I was charged just for a discussion of what the treatment would be. I feel scammed. I was looking forward to meeting and being treated by Dr Lee at the Holistic Health Center. Traveling from New Orleans to Houma I had hoped that I had found a medical doctor with experience in acupuncture that could help in my stroke recovery. Unfortunately I was never able to truly evaluate Dr. Lee's expertise as she didn't come back in after the treatment to evaluate the effectiveness of the acupuncture treatment. I've been treated by at least a dozen acupuncturists and have never had this experience; one in which the doctor or acupuncturist did not follow up with me personally. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Lee. read more
