So hard for me to do since everybody else is amazing, but Denise makes me feel incompetent when asking basic questions. She's also so quick to shut me down when my family has been coming for 20 years & she's answered the same questions before with them. The sweet receptionist tried to explain for me and Denise still was somehow angry at every answer I gave her. I had to walk out very anxious when I just wanted to purchase a bundle. I've struggled with back and neck pain from my days in the military. My doctors have recommended back surgery but I'm glad I went with Dr Holland's regimen of care. Pain radiating from my hip to my ankle for five weeks finally made me seek help. After talking treatment with my doctor and getting her confirmation, I went with my gut and made an appointment with a chiropractor. She said, "I go to a chiropractor. I'm going to tell you that as with all doctors what is important is going to someone who is trusted and well-known." Not going to lie, this is way out of my comfort zone. I've always feared the "cracking". 49 years old and have never gone to the chiropractor. The nerves driving there outweighed the pain in my hip and leg - yes, it was that serious. I was referred to Lander Chiropractic through several friends and from the moment I made the call I knew I was in good hands. Samantha was friendly, helpful, and let me know while there were no appointments available she would see if any of the doctors would be able to see me due to my level of pain. She did my intake via phone and the whole time reassured me that all of the doctors in this office were exceptional. Guess what? She did it! I was booked with Dr. James (owner with his wife - also a chiropractor) at 3:00! My anxiety was through the roof as I drove there but again, that damn pain was extraordinary so I kept driving. Dr. James brought me into the room and honestly I can't remember exactly what he said (again, the nerves from being a first time chiropractic patient) I felt like he not only was extremely versed in this medical field but his bedside manner was extremely comforting. During the visit I learned a lot about the spine, my particular issues, and ways to make my situation better. He aligned my legs in seconds (they have never been the same length), cracked jokes, and explained what he believes is the issue. To be real, I think I have a long way to recovery. I have no idea what I did to cause the pain, but I can tell you this - that visit made a difference in my physical pain and mentally helped me by giving me hope that with treatment it will get better. Am I feeling great? No, I still have pain in my leg, but my back which I didn't realize even had issues feels amazing and my leg does feel a bit better. I also walked away with HW (as a teacher this kinda makes me chuckle) two stretches (not 10 like physical therapists sometimes throw your way) and an appointment in a week. I'll let y'all know how it goes. Honestly, I am not "all better" and a "miracle" didn't happen, but I did get some relief and I believe that with time and Dr. James this leg pain will cease and I will be able to go back to my norm (strength training and walking without pain). A few funny moments: Courtney, the office manager, (who Samantha- remember, the angel who helped me book the appointment) told me on the phone would be there when I arrived as she would be off, was totally helpful and helped me get my card on file which I requested. Dr. Anastasia (Dr. James' wife) seemed friendly and boss chick as she was at the front desk (I assume doing work) while singing along to some 90s band that I too was singing along too. She let me know that the playlist is created by the doctors, employees, and patients, so it had everything from the 50s to current. Side note: I plan to add a few suggestions to that playlist. ;) There were two pregnant and new moms in there ready to see Dr. Anastasia and had only great things to say about her. Another patient, James (I think) said he was an attorney gave the place a stellar review. In the end, I have an appointment in a week (which Dr. James somehow fit in to his busy schedule) and I'm less nervous and more excited to finally feel some relief after five weeks of pain. If you are unsure where to go, my suggestion is to definitely call Lander Chiropractic. I'll update this review as my treatment continues. I really don't like writing bad reviews but I just want to make other people aware of how unorganized this place is. The receptionist needs retraining. I checked in for my appointment and was asked to wait for a room to become available. I waited for over 40 minutes hoping I would be next soon, but no. Every person walking in got a room right away and forgot about me! I then went up to the receptionist to tell her just to cancel my appointment, and she had the nerve to ask me if I had already checked in. If you want a place where you can be seen within 10 min(from what I seen while waiting in the lobby)this is your place. But if you're looking for a place that actually cares about you.. Dr. John and Dr. Taylor are the best chiropractors I've ever seen. I've been going here and seen by both doctors for couple of years now and I'm beyond happy. They are also good with infants / toddlers. My grandson was born premature with several issues one of them was scoliosis, Dr. John & Dr. Taylor has been working on him and now he is doing great. I just had the worst experience at this office. The front desk person called Emily has a very very bad customer service. Since min one that I got there she was super rude. I explained the issue to Dr. Holland and he instructed her to process my paperwork since I was a new patient. After one hour waiting I had to ask her to take my payment because she was ignoring me and she told me to have a seat for the 10th time. At this point I was super frustrated with her I told her that I was in pain and the only thing I wanted was to be seeing by the Dr. and Emily was laughing at me so I decided to leave. I have been seeing the doctors here for a while now and they have been great. I have referred multiple patients here and still recommend this practice. I just wanted to make a comment on their new receptionist/front desk clerk. She was unprofessional and unapologetic when I showed up to my appointment and was told in a matter-of-fact manner that the doctor was already out for the day. I did not get any call to let me know about that nor an apology when I showed up for nothing. She just asked if I wanted to make another appointment. I don't think that's an acceptable response and could have easily aggravated other patients. read more

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and Holland chiropractor is the only place I found that accepts pregnant patients that takes my insurance. Even without insurance, they're pretty affordable too. As a new patient I was in and out within 30 min too. That's including paperwork and insurance coverage confirmation. The actual adjustment itself was about 5 minutes. Super quick fix when you're actually in pain. I had been to other chiropractors before where they spent alot more time with minimal results. I'm so glad I found Dr Taylor Holland. He's great at fixing you in minutes. I walked out feeling amazing. Excited to go back and see him again next week. Update// I noticed they had been billing my insurance and that now I have "amount you may owe" of $110+, Though every time I go in I was told I only have to pay my copay amount. I had never been to a chiropractor and was very nervous about how it would go and how the bones popping would sound. I developed allergies as an adult when I was pregnant and was suggested that a chiropractor could help when I was having very bad congestion despite taking over the counter allergy pills. Dr. Taylor Holland was so awesome! He did an excellent job explaining how the misaligned nerves can affect allergies. He did an assessment and correction on my upper back and neck. He knew I was nervous so he talked me through exactly what he was doing. One thing that surprised me was that I felt nauseated and tired when I got home, which he said might happen since it was my first time. He advised me to drink a lot of water and stay extra hydrated. This helped and I hydrated more before my next appointment. I had 3 weekly visits and my congestion got SO much better! My neck and back felt great, a lot more loose and relaxed! The office was easy to find, lots of parking, friendly staff, very professional and covid safe. I would definitely recommend Dr. Taylor Holland and would definitely go back. read more

After having my first baby, I had a lot of neck strain and I decided to follow my husband (who had a lock of back issues) to his chiropractor. Though I thought it was only my neck, I felt my whole body released from tension. Dr. Taylor also saw our baby who was about 2.5 months old and gave him a complementary adjustment. When I was pregnant with my second baby, I really wanted a VBAC and Dr. Taylor recommended that I come in weekly on my last month of pregnancy.
