If you are purchasing a motorhome or RV and never plan to ask Holland for any service then go ahead and buy something from them. If they have any "Due Bills" do not except anything they are trying to sell you until all due bills have been fully completed at the dealership. I am two months out on a $225,000 class a motorhome and they can't even get fan covers that I paid for to have installed at a price of $450 a piece to me correctly. They sent the wrong vent covers. How much more basic does it get than that? The answer is it doesn't. Their parts and service department is horrible. When you actually except your motorhome or RV and you go through the "Red carpet delivery service". If you have a person named Bob trying to explain your very complicated coach to you when he lives in a 1982 motorhome. Run the other way and demand another person who actually knows something specific about your coach. Wow Kevin is an awesome sales person the rest of the company is a bunch of crap. I had my own financing I had my own credit union to deal with the financial aspects of this purchase so I cannot speak to their finance department. But I can tell you the delivery and the customer service and parts and service post sales is atrocious run the other way. Kevin Pomerleau is THE BEST and the MOST TRUSTWORTHY Professional Sales Professional I have ever happily handed a six figure check to. If you are looking for a Motorhome go meet Kevin. Talk to him. Tell him what you like and what you don't like. He WILL remember what you are looking for. Believe it or not but my wife and I met Kevin for the first time two years ago. It took some life events, some time and planning. Kevin always kept in touch with us. When Kevin found the Coach we were looking for he called us, we came and bought it in the spot. His post sales support is incredible!! Most sales "professionals" I have known have an attitude of "My responsibility stops after the sale". Not Kevin. !

Today I began a search for a possible Class C or Travel Trailer. I was pleasantly greeted by Leslie at Holland RV (soon to be renamed to "Blue Compass RV" in 2023), who was absolutely a pleasure to work with. She wasn't pushy or a typical salesperson... She wanted to make sure she understood what I'm looking for in a recreational vehicle. She didn't rush me and took the time to show me different options... Discussed the warranties and financing options. It's the end of the year so they have several "Red Tag" deals going on and will also give additional discounts for most brands if you're a Costco Member. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, low-pressure sales experience, go down and ask for Leslie... Tell her "Tall Paul" sent you from Yelp!

I just purchased my second RV from Holland RV and I couldn't be more happy. My sales reps Martin and Barry were amazing during the whole process. Lots of dealers will work with you on price but what sets these guys apart is the level of service I have received after my purchase. Whether it is a Motorhome, boat or plane, you are always going to have some sort of issue. Martin has always answered his phone and walked me through whatever issue I was having. He genuinely cares and wants to make sure we are enjoying our purchase to the max. Seth and Hector in Service have been great handling the little issues we have found. Both are super knowledgeable and so very helpful. If you are looking for an RV or travel trailer, Holland RV San Marcos is the place and Martin is your guy.

    Quote Brand New Trailer,
April 2nd, 2023 Buyer Beware. Total Rip Off with no Resolution.

Issue: Purchased a quote brand new trailer and once we drove it home, discovered the undercarriage had 2 to 3 years of rust. This was not disclosed at the signing of the contracts. We believe it to be falsely representing the product. Deep down, we would like to walk away from this whole ordeal. But we love the 1808FBS so much, that we would like to hear from Winnebago that these type of practices are rare and that we can be compensated some way. When I was driving the trailer back to Holland, I was hoping it was going to make it. The rear Dexter Axles are shot, and the support bar that is hanging worried me. Thanks so much for your time.

We worked at first with Bonnie at the Santee location, and she sent us to the San Marcos location to find the exact camper we wanted. In San Marcos we worked with Matthew. He was friendly, a wealth of information, and worked to get us the price point we wanted. Thanks for your hard work, to both Bonnie and Matthew! We love supporting local businesses and Holland carried the RV brand that we were looking for. Recently updated service to include RVComplete insurance and are part of the Costco membership discounting plan, shopping local now has some national benefits.

Hi, please see the below photo for our great review! The employees were very helpful, kind and thoughtful. We would recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Absolutely the best technicians. After bad experiences at several other RV service centers in the area, this is the only place I trust to fix the problems without creating new ones. Seth, Steve, Charlie, and Craig are all extremely competent technicians and will get the problem solved, no matter what.

My husband wanted to show me some rv's in order to convert a fancy pants wife and show her the comforts of recreation vehicles. We were greeted by Chris Manley. He was friendly and knowledgeable without any pushiness . I myself am a sales professional and I really appreciated his approach- just show the dream- and know your stuff. I must say, although I was hesitant, I am a convert and much can be attributed to Chris and my experience at Holland. I also ran into my friend Steve Walsh , who I've known to be a top player in the industry and he himself was so friendly and gracious. It was a great visit- thank you both !

Ask the Community - Holland RV Centers

I want to replace the engine splash shield that is installed underneath the engine and the front passenger side fender liner for my 2003 Honda Accord 4 cylinder. Labor only cost?

Thanks, but we are a motorhome dealer. Our suggestion is to call a Honda Dealer.

We searched for an established and reputable RV solar firm, and a friend recommend Infinite RV & Marine in San Marcos. My initial phone call was answered by office manager Daniela, who listened intently to my questions, and quickly put me at ease. Following the call, she worked closely with the firm's founder and technical maestro David - who reached out to discuss technical aspects and options, and soon we had a detailed and easily understood proposal in hand to add a pair of 200 Watt rigid solar panels to our RV roof, as well as all the subsystems necessary to make them fully operational and beneficial to our anticipated needs. The day of our appointment, we met the rest of the team, including David's son Zack, who runs the day-to-day operations of the business, providing hands-on leadership to a small crew of installers, to assure everything is up to his family standards. As Zack later said: "I treat every RV as if it was my own". With several restaurants, a multi-plex theater and brewpub a short distance away, I planned on spending a few hours nearby as the work was performed, and was pleasantly surprised to receive an early call that the work was not only complete, but that my cost would be less than half of the estimate. On further inspection and research during the installation, Zack determined my existing control hardware and other systems would be able to easily handle the new panels, and there was no need to install the hundreds of dollars of additional new equipment they had understandably ordered and prepared for the install. Though Zack could have easily installed that new equipment for an extra profit, and explained it away to a know-nothing like me, he didn't - - and that means one hell of a lot. Zack, David, Daniela and the team at Infinite RV & Marine have our utmost respect and admiration. We could not be happier with the work they performed. When it comes time to expertly install complex solar and other specialized electrical systems in an RV, they will most certainly be the first ones we turn to.

Purchased a brand new Airstream Rangeline from Blue Compass (Airstream of San Diego) in San Marcos…read more After first viewing it we had to sleep on it for a day and to research a bit. We found several issues that other owners were reporting and things to look for. One huge issue was firmware updates that Airstream required dealers perform before selling this model. AS also issued a recall requiring that the generator fuel line be replaced due to possible fuel leaks and risk of fire. When we called to ask about these recalls they admitted that neither recall had been addressed..., they were okay with us driving it off the lot this way on day one knowing full well there were serious safety issues that Airstream had already paid them to correct. We were told it would take about a week. It took about 5 weeks to get these corrected. Never once did anyone update us on the status on their own and most of our follow up calls went ignored. Because of the delay they promised to ship us a carpet set and apologized. We still did not know enough about RVs at the time but quickly learned that we bought a brand new unit with a good number of bugs and missing accessories. The unit did not have the awning tool and the sewer hose was also missing. The carpet set was never shipped and when we called about the missing components and the rug we were told that they did not come with a sewer hose (?) and they were going to get back to us about the carpet. We called Airstream and they confirmed that it was supposed to have the sewer hose and the awning tool... so the service manger flat out lied or was ignorant. She seemed pretty sure of herself though when she told us that we'd have to buy these ourselves. Blue compass also never got back to me about the carpet and never once did anyone follow up after the sale. The after-the-sale service was absolutely awful and basically non-existent. I cannot recommend buying from this outfit unless you do your due diligence and know enough about RVs yourself. Buyer beware.

The listing for this RV stated it came with an e-bike and Starlink. My rental agreement confirmed both. One week before pickup, I received a text from Oscar saying the e-bike and Starlink were actually add-ons, and that he needed to check availability. I responded by email pointing out that both were included in my signed rental agreement and that I expected either both items to be available or a price adjustment. No response. Oscar was not present when we arrived, and Dorian told me there was nothing he could do or he would get in trouble. He refused to call anyone or escalate the issue. I needed the RV, so I had no choice but to accept it. See the attached rental agreement. We specifically rent the Mercedes-Benz version because we are familiar with it, and a key reason is its self-leveling stabilization system, which minimizes rocking. We were not informed until we showed up that this feature had been disabled. Dorian claimed customers damage it. I paid a premium for this model specifically for that feature, and it was disabled without any prior notice. For a 2024 model, this RV is in rough shape. Everything functioned and it was reasonably clean, but the interior has clearly been neglected. Among other issues, the original shower slider was replaced with a cheap curtain rod rather than being properly repaired. See attached photos. Do not be fooled by how friendly and responsive they are during the booking process. This company falsely advertises its vehicles and will not honor its own rental agreements, even when you have everything in writing.
