He also underestimated the work and asked for additional money which I gave.$200 so Total 1700.He was paid. I asked him to come back and do it right. He reacted with all kinds of excuses not to come back. I got several estimates to have it fixed from other companies ranging from 12 to 1600 dollars. I feel his work was poor quality. He seemed condescending in that our smaller wool area rugs weren't a large enough job for his company. It was not an obvious issue and I had 4 other roofers come out prior to finding Josh at Solar Roofing, all of the others told me they couldn't see any issue and left. Madge Roofing was the last one prior to Josh coming our and the roofer from Madge told me that as he couldn't see any problem I wasting my money and his time so he left with me still having a leak. Josh made several trips and as it was not an obvious issue he tried several small fixes in an attempt to keep my repair as inexpensive as possible. When those fixes did not work and we determined that a small section of the roof required replacing it was bad news as the shingle that I had initially installed was discontinued and another colour would have had my high end expensive roof on a $1,000,000 plus home looking like patchwork. Josh took the time to source for old stock and managed to find the exact shingles for the repair. While others gave up with little effort Josh showed the perseverance to keep at it and got the job done. I would not hesitate to recommend Solar Roofing to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price. We are having a new home built and I will be asking our building contractor to use Josh and Solar Roofing for our new build.
