Sandra and her staff also played a huge role in helping Romeio become potty trained, develop positive emotional behaviors, communicate effectively, and build healthy friendships with other children. They treated him as if he were one of their own, and as a parent, that level of care means everything. What impressed me most was how they balanced education with love and emotional support. Romeio not only learned academically, but he also learned kindness, confidence, independence, and respect. The growth we saw in him during those years exceeded every expectation we had. My child has learned so many skills ranging from writing, letters, colors, shapes, emotions, safety, & social skills. My child also enjoys talking about all the yummy food & snacks provided. As a working parent with a background in Infant Family Early Childhood Mental Health, it was important for me to find a place where I knew my child would bloom in all domains & be cared for with so much love & care & I was fortunate to have been referred to Sandra's daycare by a parent whose child was attending at the time. Not only are my kids learning a lot, but they are happy to attend each day. Some things I love about Elida is how caring she is with the kids, the healthy meals she cooks, and how she makes each child feel special. I feel at peace going to work knowing my children are in great hands. Bonus, my children are learning Spanish! I receive updates from the school regularly on the transparent classroom app including pictures of my kids in class. It's always awesome to see what they're working on. For example just the other week my five year old was introduced to multiplication! There are tons of manipulatives in the classroom that make the learning hands on and engaging. I love that my boys are able to learn at their own pace and they are able to work with classmates to share ideas. The staff are all very kind, patient and supportive.
