Those with a love of all things vintage will love this place. Instead of a stuffy, "don't touch" antique store feel, this place is a lovely hodge-podge of just about everything under the sun. Numerous outbuildings house everything from farm implements to yard ornaments. Chances are good that if you want it, this place has it. Prices can be a bit high, but not terribly unreasonable. And the selection just really can't be beat, even if you're only there to browse. The farm is located on the outskirts of Gloucester. I have visited Holly Hill several times over the years and have found it to be a fastinating place every time - a literal snapshot in time, with 7-8 out buildings full of the most unique items I have ever seen anywhere - inside a museum or out. Several of the buildings have a theme which adds to the feeling that you have been transported to another century. HOWEVER... the only time I have tried to buy something there led to a pretty unpleasant outcome. I found a stack of old newspapers in the main house, and made an offer to the owner. He counter-offered. I looked around a bit more, and then told him I would pay the price he quoted me. Unfortunately, he then informed me that he had changed his mind; that the price he had given me was too low, and he would not sell them. I don't do business with people who don't stand by their word, and so I left. The bottom line is that Holly Hill is an incredible place to visit. However, if my experience is typical, it might explain the reason that the owner has accumulated so much stuff, and still has it. read more

This is an owner self review. I welcome you to visit my antique shop on a farm. I promise I will "Roll out the Red Carpet" for you and your children. I have 13 barns and house that are just filled with antiques and farm primitives as well as some junk. This is an antique shop of the "old Style" in a barn like they had back in the 1950s. This farm is wonderful and you will find all kinds of treasures and if you are looking for something specifically the owner Dave will make a mental note and on his travels will try to find the item. Great prices and you will have fun looking at all the treasures. I purchased several items to include furniture and I would not find them anywhere else for the price! read more
