My 12 year old got excited but we missed the turn and I thought we were done... till we ended up spending the night in Fremont which has a Shelton location. Their sign said was the world's largest fireworks store and I have no basis for comparison, but I would not want to be in there if someone lit a cigarette. We got a boxed assortment for $55 or so and added some bottle rockets and a big rocket, then the proprietress threw in a "grand finale" which was one of the cake type displays with multiple holes and a fuse that makes them go off in sequence. Last night, hopefully safe in the sand on a lake in upstate NY, we finally shot them off. There was only one semi-dud in 20 or so items. The favorites were the mortars... little balls with long fuses that you shoot out of a tube to get a nice display at about 30 feet... and the various cake types. The big rocket was perfect to start it all. Fountain types were the least impressive. There were no instructions and I'd never done this before so I peeled back the cellophane and exposed the fuses for better burning, maybe this contributed to the high success ratio. Much enjoyment by the assembled children and adults and with cautious adult lighting I did not feel unsafe. A friend from Jersey asked me how much I'd paid and told me he would pay over $100 for the same assortment going across the border into PA. So go to eastern Indiana, assuming you have some other reason to do so. (Maybe to visit the RV Hall of Fame which is just down the road in Elkhart?)

So we decided to have a stop there bought a mattress. But , we didn't feel like welcoming, we don't know what is the reason. When we leave and try to be more friendly, so my son say 'have a good day' then he didn't even answer us and turn his face and pretending moving stuffs. From the beginning to greeted us till we leaving, he hadn't say a word of 'how are you, thanks or thank you.' Why I make a decision that come to shop the local. I have visited Baldy's a few times just to look, and I was allowed to look without pressure…read more Recently we shopped for a mattress intending to look at several different places before buying. Our first stop was Baldy's Furniture in Wauseon, OH. We were greeted when we walked in, allowed to explore the store with no pressure. While we tried different mattresses, a salesman checked on us, not too often, not too little, then when we made out decision, our salesman was nearby, easy to find and we completed our transaction. We had the mattress delivered a few days later. On the day morning the mattress was to be delivered, I received a call that they were short a deliveryman, so my mattress would be delivered in the afternoon. The caller was relieved I was not upset, (I know things happen), and apologetic. Early that afternoon, I received a call they were on their way and would be there in half an hour. They were right on time. Good Customer Service, GOOD communication, good quality furniture and a very fair price. I HIGHLY recommend Baldy's Furniture!
