In 1950, it is listed with with a seating capacity of 500. It is still in use and has been gracefully restored as a multi-purpose venue.

We go every June to see Jeff Cook there and always enjoy it. There is only one rest room for men and one for women so there is always a line. But for what it is it is a nice enough place. It's kinda hot in there every time we have been. But great to see them keep a old place like this alive.

The food might be OK but it will take close to an hour to get it and it will be cold. Take into account that you may spend another half hour just getting through the gate. And a half hour standing in line to order. They have buzzers to tell you when your food is ready but expect to miss the first half of the first feature standing in line unless you got to the gate an hour early. And then to head back to the concession stand near the end of it for another fifteen minute bite out of the movie. I can't imagine the current owners will be able to stay open until the end of summer if they don't get this sorted. I hope they do.

The bathrooms are clean with new wooden stalls and the snack area is easier to access. The prices are low compared to brick and mortar movies. Only $15 for five of us to watch two movies! What? That's less than one ticket cost almost anywhere else! Had a great time and enjoyed the movie, sound, facilities, and prices!

This is located in a white church and it's pretty close to unclaimed baggage so you can kill two birds with one stone. I loved reading about the story however I hated that those boys were convicted and most likely didn't need to be. We came here on a Friday morning there really wasn't that many people in there so we were able to stop and look at all the information on the walls in regards to these boys that were arrested for apparently raping two white women on a train. If you had just Scottsboro, I would definitely check this out if especially if you're into history There was two girls that were working that day and they were very sweet and gave us some information about the Scottsboro boys.

This museum is an incredible, important attraction that Scottsboro should be proud of.
