For 2019, this was the first time ever that the Snowbirds performed at the Boundary Bay Airshow. In addition, a CF-18 Hornet showed up for display and for an aerial performing flight, which doesn't happen every year. All of the aerial performances from the vintage airplanes to the present-day planes were amazing. Watching them perform aerobatic maneuvers from felt very relaxing and peaceful. I love how the announcer would give us a biography of the pilot, history of the airplanes and the types of maneuvers that pilot would perform during flight. It was also great that they didn't do any aerial bombing demonstrations from the fighter jets because there was one year that my DSLR camera and all my photos were damaged from huge fire and smoke from the bomb explosions. I loved the vintage airplanes that were on ground display and demonstrations in the air. It was great to see them in real life, especially when I spent my youth building mostly Revell and Monogram plastic model airplanes from WWII era to present.

After entering our vehicle license plate on the kiosk inside the lobby we were told we'd be receiving four hours of complimentary parking instead of the regular 3 because our movie "Odyssey" runs for almost three hours. Bonus! After walking down the well lit corridor thanks to the floor to ceiling windows, you arrive at the bar/dining area. This 75 seat and table bar /dining area. It is nice to have a meeting spot prior to or after seeing a film. Locating your theatre is simple as walking down the next hall. All five auditoriums are in a row. I believe this is the second adult only Cineplex VIP exclusive theatre venue in Canada. ( The other being Park Royal.) RealD 3D is featured and adds extra depth and realism to compatible films. Their full recliner is the feature that my husband was most thankful for. The headrest has a separate adjustment to obtain the perfect movie watching position. In seat, food and drink is the sole way to purchased food here. Popcorn and sodas included! My only minor disappointment involved the popcorn toppings. I usually drench mine in the canola-flavored oil because I'm lactose intolerant--and, honestly, I just prefer the taste. Only butter topping is available at this location so I had to defer and pop a Lactaid pill. It was pretty tasty! The super clean, modern bathrooms were an unexpected bonus and should get recognition as well! It was a solid five star experience.

I do appreciate how they are matching Cineplex's promotion of free refill with purchase of a large popcorn or drink. The Premiere seats are spacious and recliner really well. I was comfortable during the whole entire movie and appreciate how there's also a place to hang your jacket. Busy but nice cinema with long line ups at the concession stand. Will be back to try it again.

I thoroughly enjoyed these seats and would happily get the upgrades again in the future.
