I did note that there were some reviews that indicated that they had problems receiving return calls but overall Main Street Salon had great reviews. I called, the receptionist was very friendly. I explained that I was traveling and staying in the area for a short while longer, and hoped to get a haircut scheduled sometime this week. My phone number was taken and I was told that a message would be sent to "everyone" in order to determine who I could be scheduled with and I would receive a call back. That was 2 days ago. I get it. People are busy and booked up. I don't have a problem with that at all if I was told that right up front. Would this be acceptable to any one of them if they required a service? for example ...an air conditioner repair tech? How would each one of the individuals feel if they required a service -soon- and were just blown off? No phone call, just an expectation that help would be provided and dismissed. It is sad to leave such a negative review for a place that I didn't even visit but that's the point isn't it? I sincerely appreciate that the customers that they have currently seem to have a great experience BUT I am also acknowledging the people that have indeed been blown off...it isn't just because they were somehow a "negative" customer. They just weren't appreciated for being one.

I got a full set of classic lashes done by Ashely and it too her 2 hours. My lash artist at home can get this done in and hour and 15. Even with 2 hours my lashes weren't completely lashed, Ashley leaves the bottom layer of lashes completely unlashed! I assumed she would make this up in my next fill however we never made it there. Within 1 day I had dustings of lashes on my cheeks and my lashes were falling out rapidly. Within 4 days 60% of her lashes had fallen off. I paid $190 for a full set of lashes and Ashely REFUSES to offer me ANY refund whatsoever. I am extremely disappointed and will never be going back. She talks quite a bit of smack about all the other lash artists in town, she may want to stop with that because she isn't doing to well herself. Don't spend your money here it's a complete waste and she even told me over text " I don't guarantee or promise my work". WOW
