Great sunset Sail!! Crew was great!! Thank you Mina and Kevin! Boat was clean. Wonderful beverage options! Can't wait to go again!

Booked with our hotel concierge without even reading any reviews. No need. This is a great business. We checked in at their office in the Outrigger Reef and were walked over to the embarkation spot. Wear slippahs! My husband had shoes and socks . Took off right away and were welcomed with an open bar with lots of options. Great music, plenty of room to move around. We weren't sure if Oahu would deliver a great sunset because the day was kind of cloudy. Um...wow. 90 minutes of joy on the water capped by a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend! Please tip the workers! They are great!

Loved it. The captain and crew were 100% professional and welcoming. They even allowed us to see a humpback whale. It was relaxing and memorable.

Absolutely incredible experience with these guys! Everything went smoothly, they communicate and work well together to make sure everyone feels safe and are having fun. We not only got to see and get close to some turtles but the sailing was als a great time too. Would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants to have fun adventure at a very reasonable price. Book morning slots for best weather and conditions!

My daughter and I had an absolute amazing time. The team was so fun and knowledgeable. They made us feel extremely safe and offered their assistance at every moment. It was a great experience and I would recommend this Catamaran to everyone.

What a lovely time on the Holokai Catamaran for the sunset cruise: great views, a safe experience, good drinks, and a pleasant atmosphere. Mitchel and Cole (and the team beforehand) made us feel safe, and we were not concerned about the ride. Even though it was safe, that does not mean it was not fun. The drinks started flowing as soon as it felt safe, and the music started bumping. The ride, though, could have been more bumpy and super pleasant. The views, the breeze, and more were fantastic. Approximately 20-30 people were on the boat, and even with that, it felt like there was enough room for all. This is your go-to activity for a nice hour or so on the water with good drinks and great views. :)

Lots of fun. Saw some turtles very quickly. Even though it was a very windy day the tour was a success. Sailing after snorkeling was great.

Ask the Community - Holokai Catamaran

Do they play music on the cruise?

Yes! The playlist was very wedding/party ish. A lot of people were singing and dancing along especially after a few drinks!

Is this cruise ok for 5 year olds? Especially for snorkeling?

Yes! We took ours and she loved it :)

Is the sunset cruise kid friendly or is it more like a "booze cruise"? We're looking for a sunset sail with our 11 and 14 yo. Thanks!

It is extremely kid friendly. When we went there were roughly 10-15 kids of all ages. They loved to sit in the netting in front and the captain would bounce the boat so the kids would get splashed. They were having a great time. When we were coming… Read more

How long is the snorkel catamaran and is alcohol and food served?

We were about 2 1/2 hours out, and that included both snorkeling and sailing. They don't have food, but they do have alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. The Holokai Hooch is delicious!

After the snorkel tour, we had a great sail around with my daughter having a blast out front on the cargo nets.

The bus arrived right on time, and our driver, Cheryl, was awesome and hilarious. Once we got to the boat, Captain Zach was fantastic, and Leilani, our lovely hula dancer, added such a special touch to the whole experience. From start to finish, we loved every single second. The crew was fun, professional, and made us feel completely at ease. We were even lucky enough to see whales, which made the trip extra unforgettable! I've told everyone I know about this experience and can't wait to come back and try the dolphin tour next time. This place is absolutely a 10 out of 10--highly recommend!

This tour is very misleading online snd I want to make sure ppl know what they are signing up for…read more The staff was wonderful and very organized. But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.

MANA sunset cruise from Ko Olina - the absolute highlight of our trip!!!…read more We are no strangers to Catamaran excursions - trips in the British Virgin Islands, Greece, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. By far, Captain Travis and First Mate Taylor were exceptional, leaving no detail to chance. We were warmly greeted with a drink and were given a very thorough safety briefing. Both were meticulous in their duties to their craft as well as to their guests. The catamaran was immaculate, an outstanding demonstration of the care and maintenance it receives - impressive for a 2008 Cat. Thanks MANA and crews for your care and concern. We had only 5 of us aboard ( they allow a maximum of only 6) which really enhanced the experience. As we got underway drinks were served and then came what I thought was going to be a sampling of local snacks. No, it was a full dinner made by Taylor that was some of the freshest, best food we have had on the Island, followed by a dessert second to none. The other guests dietary restrictions were taken into consideration and we sailed (and for a portion of the trip we were under full sail & not motoring) around with soft Hawaiian reggae playing. The two hours flew by.... We were regaled with stories of the Islands and some very interesting facts. Sure there are less expensive, far more crowded sunset tours... but NOTHING compares to this one. It was worth every cent. When we return we will have already booked this trip before we board our again! Do yourself a favor, splurge on a really personal Hawaiian experience and book this trip. You will be richly rewarded & have memories for years to come! There may be no traffic jams on the extra mile... but you will find on this excursion, Captain Travis & First Mate Taylor are on the extra mile & demonstrate what the extra mile should look like! A very important note - we recommend if you are coming from the Waikīkī area that you plan on leaving early and planning a light lunch at Ko Olina - the Monkeypod, or one of the restaurants in the hotels. The traffic leaving Waikiki in the afternoon is horrible in the afternoon and could take several hours to navigate to Ko Olina.
