Pleasant folks to deal with. Reasonable rates for work. I had a gas lighter put in my fire pit. They took care of all permits etc. Prices for propane are competitive, and far better than out previous supplier Amer***as, they are almost criminal! Ive heard some people complain they ran out. When you drive your car, you go to the gas station and fill up when you're close to empty. The gas station doesn't call you and tell you to drop by. Just lift the lid on your tank and look at the gauge. Its just like your car. And if you have a yearly minimum, add a date in the first week of December to call for a fill up, maybe on Aunt Bessies birthday. read more

I originally declined the propane tank monitor so I could schedule refills on my own, when I needed it. Holtzman added the monitor without asking me, charging more than $200. Then, they failed to monitor it resulting in my propane tank going empty during a snow storm. They won't deliver unless they can see gravel or pavement so my tank was empty for more than 3 weeks. When temps don't get above 25 degrees, the snow/ice isn't melting. Even worse, they required that I send them photos of the road when it was clear so they knew they could see it, otherwise it was a $125 fee for them trying to deliver unsuccessfully. Sadly, I know another customer of theirs who was having the same issue and actually had to stay in a hotel until Holtzman would deliver. Because propane is my heat source, my pipes froze and I had to get plumbers to fix everything. Even though they broke the contract by not delivering, I will be charged a cancellation fee (~$125) AND "restocking" fee to cancel the contract. Also, I called multiple civil litigation lawyers in the area but most of them have represented Holtzman resulting in a conflict. That in itself should tell you something. There are plenty of better competitors who ensure their customers don't run out. I highly suggest skipping Holtzman and going with someone else. read more

Watch out for Holtzman Propane. I strongly advocate not to use them as a service provider. In the few months I used them for service, I caught them jumping my fence and trying to fill my tank when I wasn't home, charging my credit on unauthorized charges, pressuring me to let them into my home to collect data, and refusing to service me because I wouldn't grant them access into my home and they couldn't produce legal documentation stating that I had to grant them access. If you want to save money on propane, sign up with Holtzman for their automatic fill program. When they repeatedly fail to delivery propane on time, you'll save plenty of money each and every time you run out of gas this winter. As an added bonus, Holtzman will falsely claim to have drivers available for runouts 24/7 when in reality it's strictly a business hours operation. I'd write more, but it's hard to type when it's so cold in your house, all thanks to being stupid enough rely on Holzman Propane. read more

If I could give them a rating of zero stars, I would. They charge you upfront for delivery, but if your a will-call customer like us...good luck. Our tank has been empty for weeks now and we paid them nearly two weeks ago. STILL NO DELIVERY! If you can't service your customers Holtzmann, get out of the business and go sell insurance or something. Based on our experience with them, I recommend going with anyone but this sorry company. read more
