St. Augustine is steps away from Waikiki Beach and welcomes travelers to daily services. We attended early mass on Sunday. There is a small parking lot available for parishioners. The priest and locals are friendly and welcoming. They explained Hawaiian infused differences in the traditional mass. The building is amazing. The cement arches, seen outside, run through the inside framing the sanctuary. Beautiful stain glass windows depicting Christ fill arches. A magnificent stain glass wall with Christ in a tropical setting fills the back of the church. Hawaiian kahili flank the alter. I love the Hawaiian influence. Copper doors and roof accentuate the beauty of this remarkable church.

It was so refreshing to hear Gods word preached with such love and understanding. I've been a Christian for my whole life. We called information and found out that the store was now called "The Mystic Eye" and relocated to another area on 12th avenue. We had our hopes up and were very disappointed at how small this new location was along with the much smaller amount of inventory. It was $25 for 15 minutes reading, and she told me lots of things that made me wonder if she's ever known me. The only information I provided her was my name and birthday, and she didn't ask me many questions at all. She was so dead on with great amount of details, and some of the things she said actually happened after 6 months. I went there with all the skepticism and walked out impressed.
