Went here on Thursday July 16th 2026 with my mom to look for some artwork for our dining room and living room. We entered and was greeted by a pleasant woman in the front. My mom asked if Michelle was there, and she indeed was. Basically last time she was there on her own, Michelle looked at photos of the room that the artwork is going, and made her best recommendation based upon that. And to boot, that artwork has looked great in the rooms my mom got artwork for. So in that note, we asked for her to do the same thing, and we showed her some pictures of the room. We also looked around the store and did find some pictures that worked, for at least one of the rooms. After we looked around the store itself, Michelle showed us her recommendations and we went with one of them. We left with a picture of a house and boats on the water. But it didn't end there, Michelle said that she will text my mom some ideas for the other room, and perhaps find an option that one can order for! Love that! Earlier this week I had posted a review sharing my positive feedback towards the quality service and guidance I received while purchasing a sleep sofa, matching chairs, and accompanying tables. Yesterday my furniture was delivered by Home Accents II, and the experience was outstanding. The two delivery technicians, James and Garrett, were adept at moving process and quickly and efficiently brought the furniture up to the second floor of my house. To do so, they navigated a difficult staircase with ease, placed the furniture in the desired location, and illustrated the mechanism of the sleeper sofa. James and Garrett are to be commended for their high level of professionalism, they represent Home Accents II in the finest of fashion and complement the high level customer service throughout the Home Accents II organization. read more

Bought a couch for $2000, the salesperson said it would take 6 weeks if we wanted to order the matching loveseat. They didn't disclose that we were buying the floor model. Then when we went to order the loveseat they realized it's not made. They agreed to a return (after trying to convince us to just order chairs instead), but charged us to get return delivery even through the whole order was their mistake in the first place. They couldn't explain the measurements, no confidence they know anything about what they are doing. Oh yeah saw the same furniture in owls nest later for less money. Payed a hundred bucks for delivery and tips for absolutely nothing except wasted time. Stay far away. read more

My wife and I have bought quite a bit of furniture from them since we have moved here. Anita our sales rep has always been helpful finding just the right piece. But beyond that,we recently bought a coffee table. The top began to peal. We had gone by our warranty period. Stu tried to get the mfg to help but to no avail. Ownership and Stu agreed to repair it on their own. They came, picked it up and returned it several days later. To me that's taking care of your customers. Great job and a great store!!! read more

We recently remodeled our beach condominium. We have visited several stores between Wilmington and Surfside looking for new living room and dining room furniture. Although we've met some very nice people and seen some attractive furniture along the way, our experience at Home Accents II was superior to the other stores. When we entered Home Accents II, we were greeted with a big smile and friendly welcome by Nichole Rogers. She offered to show us the furniture that fit our criteria and to answer any of our questions. She made herself available to us, but she did not hover or pressure. We also encountered several other members of the sales staff, and each was very friendly, asking if we needed anything and even offering us bottled water to drink. We found very nice furniture working with Nichole. Much of it was in stock, and we had that delivered the very next day. The delivery team was great ... on time, efficient, friendly, and polite. Once we viewed the furniture in our condo for 24 hours, we decided it was a bit too dark for the ambient light there. We called Nichole to ask if we could exchange the furniture for a whiter selection. She said that she would be happy to help us do that. We went back to HA II and made new selections. Nichole had Bobby and Anthony bring us our new selections the next day and take back the original choices. She has called us since then to make sure that we are happy with our new furniture. My wife and I are so impressed with Nichole and with Home Accents. We so appreciate the way she handled our order and replacement order with patience, poise, cheerfulness, and warmth. She and HA most definitely live by the principle that the customer comes first. Home Accents II has a large and varied collection of very nice furniture, art, and appointments, but the store's biggest selling point to me is the awesome people who work there. We will be shopping there for all our future furniture needs. read more

I purchased an extremely expensive set from home accents a few years ago. Recently, it started falling apart. I called asking if it could be repaired but I was denied that option. Furniture, especially very expensive furniture, should last more than three years. Years ago furniture would last ten or more years. Please save your money and buy quality pieces elsewhere. read more

Owner Tammy felt that I shouldn't expect the furniture to be in perfect shape and told me that I expected too much and that is after spending $10,000 dollars there. They will not get my business any more and the people who are building around me will be WARNED of the terrible service!!!!! Also, the delivery men didn't know what they were doing when putting the beds and other items together. During the delivery the one delivery guy drop a screw driver on my new hard work floor and chip it. Also, twice they ordered the wrong size bed for me. It was to be in my condo the second week in June didn't get it until the middle of July. There are better places to buy furniture down in the area. read more

I accept some fault with my order, but I went in and talked to a salesperson about two end chairs had seen online and a dining room table I wanted to buy. I did not place the order that day but talked specifically about those pieces. I went back a few days later to order them. I talked to a different girl, but I showed her the EXACT chairs I wanted (end chairs) on the dining room table. I never, ever considered buying the wicker side chairs. Somehow she wrote down the number for the side chairs. She rang it up, and I never noticed. Unfortunately, I ordered these many, many weeks before needed. A couple of days after we moved in, the furniture was delivered. My decorator immediately said those are not the chairs you wanted. I called the store multiple times that very day... MULTIPLE. I don't see how they thought I wanted these wicker chairs when I never even considered them at all. I didn't even consider them when I looked at wood side chairs for the table. I called multiple times that day-- maybe four? and basically was told that was what I ordered. Nothing else. There was no response offering to rectify the issue. I then called and asked to talk to the owner since multiple friends suggested that. They said the owner would call. The following week day I was called back again by the sales person. She said if I want to bring them back they will give me the end chairs. Ummm I paid for delivery. IF I thought I could get the end chairs in my car, I wouldn't have had the entire order delivered. I can say I furnished the rest of the new house online. While the sales people will tell you the potential issues with online ordering, I had none. I bought teak tables, coffee tables, sofas, chairs, bedroom furniture, etc. I did have to return one item and another was damaged from online companies. Both online companies were fabulous to deal with. I ended up with exactly what I thought I was getting. I won't be back to HA, and I tell myself that nobody else probably notices I have wicker side chairs for end chairs...... I thought buying from a mom and pop store would mean great customer service. We have bought several pieces from Home Accents and have always been extremely pleased. The selection is unique, the staff is top notch and the furniture is high quality. On our last purchase we had some issues. It was not the stores fault, but the Manufacturer. The Owner, Tammy kept in constant contact with me and got these issues resolved. She treated us with respect and the best customer service you could ask for. This store has the best selection of furniture, specifically although not solely for beach homes, in the area. We were looking for bedroom furniture for our beach condo and ended up buying a dining table as well. We do not live in the area but they were very accommodating in ordering the furniture and holding it until we got there. They even offered to deliver, set up and send us pictures if we wanted it delivered when we weren't there. We didn't need that but it was nice to have the option. They are very used to dealing with owners who do not live full time in the area. We looked at many of the chain stores before deciding on Home Accents and I'm so glad we did. This week we have friends using our condo and they called to say a dresser drawer knob had fallen off and would not just screw back on. I called the store and asked if the company could send out a new one. Stu offered to go the condo that same day and check it out since he thought he might be able to fix it. He showed up as promised that day and fixed it! You don't get that kind of service from the chain stores. We are replacing furniture in the condo a little at a time and we will be back to Home Accents. Shop local!! read more
