The one thing that I enjoy about Dr. Kinsella is that I can talk to her about anything. I feel very comfortable around her. She knows her stuff. I called her practice yesterday for a possible ear infection and the appointment procedure was very fast and easy to arrange over the phone. I was able to get in the next day. Her staff is always friendly and organized. She has a sizeable waiting room with magazines and a few televisions. The wait was approx 5 min but can vary depending the time and if its the flu season. Kinsella will be my doctor as long as she's in practice. So many doctors just look at your chart, your history, throw some pills at you and kick you out the door. Dr. Kinsella listens to you and treats you with unique care and patience that is rarely seen these days. I do have an ear infection and I'm looking forward to a fast recovery thanks to Dr. Kinsella.

I was very disappointed with their billing and follow up care. I had to call to inquire about the results of my routine test since I hadn't heard from them in over 10 days. I visited the doctor to review my results. They could not find all the test, but I was billed anyway. The billing was based on a diagnosis that allowed them to bill me for additional out of pocket expenses/deductible. How could they make a diagnosis heart disease without knowing what the test results showed, no history of heart disease, and no EKG. I obtained a copy of the test results (urine and blood) and found nothing that was out of range or supporting the diagnosis of heart disease. I called to discuss with the physician and had to leave a message. The Physician never called me back. I called a second time 2 weeks later. Still no call back. I wrote a letter requesting an explanation. It's been over 30 days and I still have not received a response, correction, or apology. I will never return to this practice. I would recommend to everyone to stay away. This is a very amateur operation. Lucky for them I don't believe in lawsuits unless seriously injured. I know many people who would sue them or not pay the bills under protest.

The doctors here also work out of the Advocate clinics near Mercy Hospital and Rush Copley Hospital. I have Dr Goel as my cardio vascular surgeon and highly recommend him. My regular OBGYN left this summer and I have now seen Dr. Patel twice and she is so kind and understanding and really honestly listens to me. I ask questions and I have never felt rushed or uncomfortable. She also really takes the time to explain things and also save me money by sending me to a different pharmacy than I was using. I have always been lucky to have very kind and sweet nurses as well. Everyone is so caring and sincere. I do like the quick and ease of the North Aurora location, not just since I live close to it but it never seems crowed or busy like the St Charles location and for some reason I think it is cleaner also. It is a no frills office with a waiting room on the plain side. I have never had any problems making a appointment and with my annual visit I was early and so was the doctor! I do have to say I only have been familiar with the OBGYN side, and I have no knowledge of the child care side of the practice.
