Home Instead Swansea was founded in 2009 by company director Ben Ruddle, who was driven by the lack of quality care options available in Swansea while searching for support for his own parents. Determined to provide only the best, most compassionate care with consistent caregivers, Ben established Home Instead Swansea with a mission to deliver home care that he would trust for his own family.
For 15 years, Home Instead Swansea has been a pillar of the community, earning 10 consecutive 'Top 20 Home Care Provider' awards, an 'Excellent' rating from CIW, and multiple 5-Star Employer awards.

With over 16 years of experience in the care industry, I am proud to be a Dementia Champion. When I decided to start Home Instead Swansea, I committed to intensive training to ensure I could deliver the high-quality service that Home Instead is known for across Swansea and Neath.
Additionally, I have earned a City & Guilds qualification and am certified as a "Train the Trainer" in Dementia Care, enabling me to pass on my expertise and knowledge to others in the field.
